Ian installed a new 10 foot sliding door on my house and French doors with side lights. Everything about the experience was great. He was prompt. He sells a great product, Milgard Windows. His crew was professional. It is an act of trust to let someone poke holes in your walls and install new windows and doors. Ian is your honest and reliable guy for the job!

We had some very expensive fold up window/​doors installed 7 years ago during a remodel. They stopped opening. Original General Contractor no help. Manufacturer no help. Home Depot no help. Had another glass company come out — solution was a total replacement. $ 20k !!! Elite Glass & Windows owner Ian came out. Took pictures. Did research. Talked to the manufacturer. Came out and FIXED the problem in less than an hour. When I asked about the invoice — Ian told me it was only an hour (he did not count multiple trips, research, etc) and that he and Elite are a member of the community and exist to serve. I forced him to take a bottle of wine. Ian and Elite have a customer for LIFE. I don’t write Unilocal reviews — but this kind of old world service was exceptional and deserving

This review covers the last six or so years. Ian did a full house of replacement windows, a second house of new construction windows, and this past year did a «wall of windows» for my son which look spectacular. At each house the work was done on time, neatly, respectfully and professionally. His pricing and products were a better value to us than the other quotes we received. As previously stated by other reviewers, he did not try to «up sell» or insult our integrity. If you are uncertain about some choices, with his experience he can lend some helpful input.
Julie in the office has been helpful in having a damaged window replaced, as well as other incidental things. Overall, the quality of the product, the integrity of Ian, and the excellent craftsmanship enables me to give Elite Glass and Window the best rating possible. And yes, we will be using them again.

This family run business is awesome from every angle! I received several estimates to retrofit a large atrium-​style window. They came through with the best price and I believe the best workmanship. Good people!

Ian just left about 10 minutes ago and I couldn’t be happier with the job he and his staff did. We had 9 windows replaced with Milgard as well as a sliding glass door changed to a French door. The price was better than both my neighbors got from other companies and it all came out perfectly. As the other reviews said, Ian is the best. He starts with the bid, works through the job and finishes the final walk through. He also gives you exactly what you want and doesn’t try to sell you up to anything you don’t want or need. I wish all people I deal with we’re as straight forward and honest as he is. My wife and I couldn’t find 1 thing we weren’t completely thrilled with. I wish I would have done this years ago.

Ian replaced our windows about 5 years ago but Unilocal was just a twinkle in someone’s brain (or I hadn’t heard of it yet)…but a neighbor just asked me about my windows and I was raving about the great work Ian and his team did so I figured I’d put it in writing. Though his estimate was slightly higher than a couple of other vendors, I elected to go with him because he replaced my other neighbor’s windows and they looked fantastic — there’s nothing better than seeing someone’s workmanship before they do work on your home. He is super nice & was willing to work with me and my anemic budget. The installation was flawless — they came on time, worked diligently, and cleaned up. You may think this is a small thing but I’ve had several contractors/​workmen leave a mess that I had to clean! They were also very accomodating about having to come back and finish the installation after the alarm company rewired the windows. If you need new windows — call Ian!

I met Ian, the owner, at the home show in Del Mar. He seemed to be more down to earth than the rest of the salespeople. After getting multiple quotes on replacement windows, his proposal had substantially more value. We were very pleased with the installation and his desire to make the customer happy. In addition to their service oriented nature, he and his crew showed up early everyday they were on the job. If you’re in the market for new windows I would definitely include him on an estimate.
