Established in 2010.

Evolve Sports Chiropractic was established in Carlsbad California in 2009. Dr. Brent Patterson D.C. now has two locations. The office in San Diego is inside The famous Team Nogueira gym where some of the worlds best UFC/​MMA fighters train and get treated.

Dr. Brent Patterson, D.C., BS, HHP

Dr. Brent has a love for the art, science, and philosophy of chiropractic! He is an avid sports enthusiast with a strong background treating sports related injuries. Dr. Brent has competed in sports his whole life and has more recently started racing in half ironman triathlons. After 10yrs of treating injuries as a massage therapist, personal trainer, & athletic trainer at SRJC & SDSU, he went on to obtain his Doctorate of Chiropractic at SCUHS. Additionally, he pursued advanced soft tissue and Chiropractic training in Graston technique, Active Release technique, & Pettibon postural correction technique.

Thank you so much for fixing me!!!
I have been suffering from tension headaches and neck pain for over 2 years. At the end of my rope I found Dr. Patterson. I can’t thank him enough for making me feel normal again! The headaches are gone!
He took the time to figure out and explain what the problem was and within 3 treatments my headaches were gone! I noticed a huge improvement by the first appointment and now I maintain every 3 weeks. My job as a hairstylist is tough on my body and Dr. Patterson makes it so much easier to get thru the day.
Booking is so easy too, his website lets you book online. Totally convent!
His prices are reasonable and he works on areas needed each appointment.

Dr. Brent Patterson is freaking amazing. I could go on and on. His office is so cute, his receptionist is a doll and his bedside manner is flawless. He truly knows what he’s doing. Long story short I work out. lift heavy, run, CrossFit, am on my feet for work 12 hours at a time and sit A LOT to study for nursing school. I’ve sustained a couple of injuries since I try to train hard on my weakened muscles.
Before my first session with Dr Patterson, I had crumbled on top of my shoulder trying to do a handstand and could barely lift my shoulder or bear weight for a couple weeks. After my first session with him, I was SHOCKED (but not surprised) at how amazing my shoulder felt. I just went in for my second session… and my shoulder feels amazing. It went from not being able to move it without pain, to having full ROM again. He even suggested some exercises for me to do to straighten out my posture and strengthen stabilizing muscles so I can prevent further injury. Yay!
I’ll definitely be coming back!!!

I have been going to dr Patterson for about a year now. He has been a hero! I have a job in the dental field that takes a huge toll on my body. Over the last year I have been getting more work at my job and my body has been struggling to keep up with the work load. I get wrist cramps, back aches and knots in my shoulders. Dr Patterson solves all my problems in one easy appointment. My body is improving over time with his help. My aches have become less severe thanks to his help in maintaining everything. A year ago I was doubting my ability to continue my career due to the pain. With Drs help I am comfortable at work and able to continue the career I love with no pain!
He uses so many diverse techniques to calm muscles, adjust, and relax. During my appointments he uses graston technique, a tens unit, deep massage movements, joint adjustment and so much more. Along with his great personality he is a great chiropractor. He offers so much more than any other chiropractor I have been to. I would recommend anyone to go see him.

I see Dr Jake for migraine relief.
They started after I was hit by a car and got worse until I followed my mother’s advice and saw Dr Jake instead of my other chiropractor. After 8 years I thought I would have migraines for the rest of my life and now I know that is not going to be true. It took about a year and a half but the tremendous relief has been life changing. I don’t have to cover my eyes at the first sign of a strobe light and I know that I would not be able to do my currant job (which I love) without the benefit of his Active Release Technique. Not all chiropractors are equal and he is definitely worth the time and expense (which is less then my migraine medication). Now it is rare that I have a headache much less a migraine and I could not be happier.

So Far so good– One visit done and I feel great. Dr. B pulled out all the stops to earn my future business. My usual ART, Dr. D is always booked up for months so this was outstanding getting in within 48 hours. Hopefully my workouts excel! The photo looks just like him!

I’ve been going to chiropractors on a semi regular basis for over 25 years. I’ve must of been to 5 or so chiropractors and none have given me the relief of Dr. Brent Patterson. I have even tried acupuncture, hypnosis, and various massage therapists over the years. I am happy to say that I get the best results with Dr. Brent’s style (Graston techniques) of chiropractic. He not only addresses the skeletal system, but works the soft tissue and the muscular system as well. This style of treatment has helped me tremendously. Due to my profession (jiu-​jitsu instructor), I need to go in for a tune-​up every 2 months.

Dr. Patterson is the best sports Chiro I have ever been to. With me being a professional athlete, I have had numerous Injuries to deal with over the years. Since I have found Dr. Patterson I have been injury free do to his knowledge of prevention and maintenance. I would recommend him to anyone and he works on my family as well.

An absolute miracle worker.
Anyone who has ever tweaked their back, twisted a knee or pulled a muscle knows the drudgery of being laid out in pain. Dr B is an extremely knowledgeable and professional guy and really knows his physiology. If you are suffering from any type of injury related pain he can help get you going unbelievably fast. He does Active Release, Grashton and chiropractic adjustments. There is a reason all the top MMA guys have their pictures on his office walls, he gets you to recovery FAST.
Saved me from crippling back pain in two visits and two days. That is a Top flight health care practitioner.

I’m a retired firefighter and I expect a lot from my body. Dr. Brent keeps me active, flexible and pain free. He’s professional, extremely knowledgeable and genuinely interested in my health.
In fact, when I told Dr. Brent about a particular technique that worked well for me, he actually went out and LEARNED it so he could use it with me. I’ve never had a health care practitioner do something like that before. He’s a keeper.

Ok. So I’m 32 yrs. old & spend alot of my free time on a stand up paddleboard, running, barre class & yoga! Never had back issues & BAM!!! I could hardly walk! I never believed in chirobreakyourbacks, but I was going to try anything at that point! I was crouched over in severe pain & Dr. Brent came up in my google search! So, I wobbled into the car for my first visit! I was so pleased with his professional manner & sincere heart in wanting to help me recover as quickly as possible. I walked out of there 45 minutes later feeling 80% better and much more educated on how the spine works. I mean how could this guy work magic? WOW! I was given valuable info. to take home & use myself. Dr. Brent is not the kind of guy who wants to just sell you on more visits, he wants to bring your body &spirit back to good health, whether that means 2times to fix something, or every other month for maintenance. He is the chirohealinghands dr. that I HIGHLY recommend! Awesome to know who I can call if I encounter another problem down the line!
