We are live, local and on call ²⁴⁄₇. So whether you call us at 2am when the water pipe bursts, or at 2pm for a handyman, you don’t have to dial 6 different extensions to get to a live human being!

History

Established in 1992.

Started in Charlotte NC, with the idea that there must be a better way in getting in touch with the right professional the first time.

HOCOA has multiple locations on the East coast, with multi state franchises in NC, FL, GA & SC. HOCOA came out west in late 2010 and officially opened its Carlsbad location to the public in January 2011! Each location is locally owned & operated. The North San Diego operation is owned by Sam & Crystal Goodwin. They have two children and enjoy serving their community.

As a locally owned business, it’s hard competing with the bigger names that have thousands of people working for them & millions of dollars backing those companies; but, the 1 thing that HOCOA has that no other competitor does is the personal service. Each pro has been interviewed face to face. You can actually call the office & talk with the owner of the company! How often does that happen? When use HOCOA you are supporting your local community!

After moving multiple times & tired of trying to find a good professional to work on our house I finally found HOCOA and tried their service while living in Virginia.

Once again we were moving back to the San Diego area and needed to get our home painted. We called HOCOA & told them we would like 3 estimates for the exterior painting of our home. They said no problem and within 4 hours, I had 3 painters call me back, they showed up and gave me written estimates! I told my wife we need this kind of service when we move to San Diego!

Hence we moved back in July of 2010 & in September we decided to pursue HOCOA full time and opened our doors in January 2011!
