I specialize in teaching piano to children and adults. I have taught over 40 years and I teach all varieties of music. I am classically trained by a concert pianist and I teach a large music repertoire. By teaching out of my home students learn in a clean quiet pleasant environment free from distractions.

I teach Music Theory along with Chording. I also have a reward system set up for students. Every year I host a piano recital where my students can showcase their talent.

After teaching for 40 years I have learned that teaching students 7 years and higher sets them on a good track for good technique. Please feel free to call me any time with your questions, I look forward to talking to you.

History

Established in 1974.

I was raised in a home where music was part of everyday life. Having Rowan Taylor (a composer, conductor and professor of music) as a father it was important to be classically trained on the piano. While raising my four children I taught piano to students of all ages out of my home. I have found that seeing my students progress in piano to be very rewarding.
