Krav Maga Carlsbad is a associated with IKM (International Krav Maga) which was founded by Gabi Noah in 2009. Currently active in more than 30 countries, IKM is rapidly growing and expanding its presence worldwide. Self defense classes are brought to Carlsbad by Krav Maga instructor, Benjamin Halcewicz. Each student is empowered with the necessary techniques to achieve their goals, whether they be physical fitness, self-​defense, recreation, or the ability to «walk in peace». Offering self defense classes for any level, you will get fit, learn to fight, and have fun! We also offer special classes focusing on women’s self-​defense techniques providing a non-​intimidating, safe, and educational environment where a woman of any skill or fitness level can feel comfortable while learning these valuable and potentially lifesaving techniques. from beginners just wanting to learn basic self defense techniques to the advanced student desiring the ability to refine and bring their Krav Maga skills to their professional career or personal passion (military and police, security services, etc). Benjamin began his martial arts training at the young age of 5yrs old in the Shotokan method of Karate under his father, Thadee Halcewicz, a 7^th degree black belt in Karate and Expert 1 in Krav Maga. Eventually, in his early teen years Benjamin’s training expanded to include Judo, Boxing, and Thai Boxing. Benjamin brought his martial arts talents to San Diego at the age of 22. He has been teaching Krav Maga for more than 10yrs. His dedication to Krav Maga has earned him the privilege of conducting self defense courses all over San Diego; he has used his skills in a group class setting, private/​small group sessions, and focused childrens or women’s self defense classes. Some of Benjamin’s other passions include BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) and Surfing, his educational accomplishments include a degree in Sports Education (from France) and 1^st aid certification. With Benjamin as your teacher, you can be sure you are getting a well-​rounded self defense training session.
