Marianna Siksay, MD

Dr. Siksay is my favorite doctor. I’ve experienced some difficult things recently, and she couldn’t have made me feel any more at ease. She’s super cool… and I felt comfortable talking to her. It was a relief. She took her time, and addressed each concern I had. I seriously loved her and would highly recommend!

Dr. Sicksay is as good as it gets. She is not only extremely intelligent, but she has an excellent bedside manner. She always responds and gets back to me and never brushes me off. I’ve had to switch to HMO but she still cares for me just the same! LOL
She does get busy and sometimes rushed, but we all have those days…

I had my first appt. today with Dr. Siksay and she is great! She took all the time that I needed and addressed each issue that I had. She ordered appropriate tests and was just all around really great! It can be so hard to find a good doctor that you can trust and I just found one in Dr. Siksay!

Dr. Siksay was my physician in Owatonna, MN. So sorry for me and others that she left us for California by the sea! Who could blame her. I’m happy to see these positive reviews. She is a super doctor! Miss you Dr. Siksay!

Dr. Siksay is the greatest. Another doctor had recommended many tests so I saw Dr. Siksay for a 2^nd opinion. She let me know that the tests were going to cost me a TON of money and were mostly unnecessary. Dr. Siksay provided me with the help I needed and it turns out she was correct about the tests. I am so much happier and healthier thanks to Dr. Siksay. She is a total straight shooter that was honest with me and made me feel very comfortable.

I am downgrading my review to 3 stars based on the last 2 visits w/​Dr. Siksay. Dr. Siksay seemed irritable and rushed both times. I don’t know what is going on with her, but she needs to dust off and restore her former kind and caring attitude.
I also was not treated well by the medical staff. After being ushered into a room, the assistant asked me the reason for my visit. I mentioned a couple of concerns and that I had a few other small issues I wanted to address, too. One of these was getting referrals for some specialists (which I ended up not getting).
After 10 min, the assistant came back in the room and announced that Dr. Siksay only had so much time to see each patient and that I needed to focus on the most important of my concerns and just discuss those. My mouth dropped open with the utter rudeness of this! I am in no way an overtalker or energy vampire of any kind and did not deserve to be spoken to this way!
My only guess is that the health care systems are being swamped now by new patients because of health care reform, so they are tightening up the time allotted to each patient.
Still, as the current popular song goes, «Why you hafta be so rude?»
I will go back to Dr. Siksay and give her another chance, but if things haven’t changed, I will be looking for a new pcp.

Best most competent doctor I have ever had! I always get a little anxious waiting in the room to be seen and as soon as Dr. Siksay walks in, her positive and warm energy calms me down. She is very thorough and invested in my care plan and the outcome. She spends time listening to my concerns then she explains what is happening to my body and gives me the best solutions, which isn’t just writing a script for unnecessary medications. I highly recommend her. It’s rare these days to find a doctor who cares like she does.

It’s hard to describe in words as to how wonderful Dr. Siksay really is. My elderly parents have experienced the care of numerous physicians but none of them even come close to as how caring, loving and knowledgeable Dr. Siksay is; she treats my parents as if they are hers. As mentioned previously in other comments, Dr. Siksay takes time to explain test results and is able to address every concern that her patients have. In addition she thoroughly prepares before coming in to see her patients. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PHYSICIAN!!!

Had a first visit with Dr. Siksay today & I must say that she is a very impressive doctor! I brought in numerous past records of tests & medical history and her recall of all that was presented plus all that I had mentioned to her throughout the appt was extraordinary!
I have been to a number of fine doctors in the past, however I have never encountered one who was as focused as Dr. Siksay. She spent a lot of time with me and made sure that all of my questions were answered. She has a very pleasant personality. I am so glad to have found her!

I had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Siksay (pronounced six-​eye), and she was so good, I had to let all my fellow Unilocalers know about her! She’s a primary care physician over at Scripps. She was really cool about answering questions and explaining things to me. She’s extremely knowledgeable and didn’t try to rush me out of the office. I’ve never had doctor make me feel so at ease. She’s not like the usual doctor that makes you feel like you’re wasting their time when you ask questions. Dr. Siksay is extremely personable and genuinely cares, you can really tell!
On the card I picked up it says her medical interest is in :

Oh, and the bonus is that if you pay cash, they give you a 40% discount!!! For people who’ve lost their insurance, that can make the difference between going to see a doctor and suffering! Thanks Dr. Siksay!!!
