Mathnasium of Carlsbad

Many tears shed… and my 4^th grader was not happy either! Therefore, to preserve my sanity dealing with COMMON CORE, I enrolled my son in Mathnasium CBD. The tutoring crew is lead by Mr. John O’Reilly and they have given my son newfound confidence in wrestling with the convoluted math process courtesy of COMMON CORE.
My son has been enrolled for about two months and has caught up with grade — level math work and his grades have significantly improved. His teacher has taken notice and asked what my wife and I were doing to generate such improvement. We give credit to Mathnasium and are hopeful he will be advanced in math as he continues the tutoring over the summer.
The kids are given a tailored program to work independently above whatever they bring from school. The student-​to-​tutor ratio has never been more than 3:1, which allows for staff to be receptive to student’s needs and that quality of service has gained our trust. One-​hour three-​days per week is what my son is doing and it has paid tangible benefits we hope will continue in his academic career.
