Casey is awesome she corrected a yellow/​orange highlight disaster to ashy blonde on my dark brown natural hair color. She also is extremely experienced with olaplex which prevents any damage if it weren’t for olaplex I would not even be able to dye my hair blonde at all as it would have all fallen out by now! Her prices are very reasonable compared to other salons especially the few selections that do use olaplex. Casey also highlights my thick hair in half the time of any other place I’ve been to! Would definitely recommend her after searching for months as I am new to the area.

My family and I have been going to Casey for years, even before she opened her own salon. We were thrilled when she opened MOD, it has a great vibe and energy. There is little harder in this world than finding a new hair stylist. I moved here three years ago and had tried four other people before I met Casey through a friend. FINALLY. Someone that understood my chemically dependent hair, someone that would say to me what was realistic and what would and wouldn’t work. She gets me! I finally have the color and look that I want. Its taken years to find someone that knows how to work with my less than perfect hair. She knows her stuff, shes up on the trends, shes amazing all around. So thankful to have found her!

There is no better feeling than for a perfect stranger to come up to you and say «I love your hair!» Talk about a confidence booster! I’ve been following Casey since her days in Cosmetology School which is over 10 years now. Being an older woman, Casey always makes sure I leave the salon looking great, feeling great, all while keeping me relevant. And that’s just the cut… you should see what she can do with color!

I found Casey on Unilocal after reading all her great reviews, she seemed like the right person for me. And it turns out, thankfully, she is all that and a bowl of chips!
She fixed an insane hair dye burned out disaster done by another hairdresser just a week before and not only corrected the color but thanks to olaplex has my hair healthier than before it was touched by the previous hair dresser. It’s like he never happened, as they say in the south, bless his heart. Lol Thank you Casey For helping heal my hair trauma.
Love the color and the stylist, she knows her business and is a kind and considerate person on top of it! WIN/​WIN in my book. She took the blonde highlight ambition from Orange to the right colors. Can’t wait for my next visit.

UPDATE! In the past I always trusted Casey to give me an awesome cut based on the style I already had, but just recently I decided to change my years-​old look. I sent her some pictures, said «this is the direction I’m thinking» and let her go to town without any specific instructions. How short? Up to Casey. Bangs or no bangs? Left to her best judgement. The results: phenomenal.
This lady knows what she’s doing, no doubt about it. I am SO happy with my new look and so happy to have a stylist that I trust completely.

Casey is amazing and her work is outstanding! Her attention to detail is incredible. I had been ignoring my hair and it showed. I brought in some photos of what I liked and Casey worked with me to give me the best of everything. She is so attentive! When you sit in her chair, her only focus is you and your hair care needs. A hairdressers hairdresser ;))) I have done hair for 8 years myself and this is where I choose to go. I get so any compliments on my hair for over 8 weeks after my appt. this is where I refer my clients that I am not able to accommodate. I really admire her work and love being treated like a client each time I come in rather than another hairdresser. ;) Look no further she’s your girl.

I actually used to go to the salon owner Casey when she was in beauty school nearly 10 years ago! She was talented then and even more so now. I was so excited to hear she had opened her own salon and I ‘broke up with’ my previous stylist ;-) — She is extremely talented and very quick. She really listens to her clients and I feel like my hair is thicker from less harsh processing already. My hair color is to cover grey, and she does an amazing job keeping my color looking natural and she color corrected some of the damage that had been done before — her prices are very fair too!

I came to see Casey after a huge hair disaster with my previous hair stylist. My hair was at least 4 different colors and in some areas colorless! I would brush my hair and it would literally break right before my eyes! Casey FIXED my color problem and helped me nourish my hair and bring it back to HEALTHY GOOD LOOKING HAIR.

The consummate professional… Casey is a creative, experienced stylist who does great color/​cuts on me and my teenage boys (who are very particular about their hair). She uses great products (Kenra) and she’s got a cozy salon complete with a glass of wine while she does a great job on your hair. I highly recommend!

It’s been a few months and I wanted to write an update to my original review back in January.
Since my initial visit when she opened MOD I’ve been in Casey’s chair 3 more times (my daughter has been in now as well and LOVED her treatment from «Ms. Casey»). Most recently a few days ago. The first couple return visits were for cleaning up and staying sharp, something Casey nailed flawlessly of course… but last time was different. She said that she had been thinking about my hair and was wondering if I wanted to try something «A little different». Honestly, I was excited. Like I mentioned in my original post: I never really thought or cared much about my hair UNTIL I started seeing Casey. To think that MY STYLIST (so cool for a guy to say) is thinking about what she can do for me even when I’m not there speaks volumes. This woman is a pro and it is so apparent that her work is SO meaningful to her. Needless to say, she did in fact make some subtle changes with my cut and the result is far better than I could’ve imagined. I was still adjusting to having a cool cut; now I have a mega-​cool cut and I double take myself in the mirror (okay at least I’m honest about a little streak of vanity)! It just meant a whole lot to get a great service from a great person who wants me to be happy with her work seemingly more than anything else in the world.

Casey is AMAZING!!! I recently moved from NorCal and was in need of a good hair cut. I have very long hair with layers. Casey does a GREAT job in consulting with you prior to working her magic. She gives honest opinions and is conservative with the scissors… which I LOVE (considering I like my long hair)! Yesterday I got a trim and highlights! The color is gorgeous… I have dark brown hair and thick eyebrows so I couldn’t go too light. She does everything very subtle and classy (which I was wanting). She is talented & a very sweet girl. I won’t let anyone else touch my hair!

Few things are more satisfying than finding that perfect stylist to tame my mane and Casey at Mod Hair Salon is my gal! This is a huge deal for me since I have naturally curly hair with lots of white/​gray roots, two pesky challenges that had me fretting about sitting in a salon chair almost as much as the dentist chair… until I met Casey.
I came prepared with a photo of the cut I wanted but I hadn’t thought much about color, I just knew I wanted something that could help camouflage the grey regrowth. Casey nailed it! She is a color master and a perfectionist, she takes great pride in her work. The cut was spot on and she managed to maintain my overall length, as requested. Miraculous! I should also note that I was pleasantly surprised with the final bill.
Casey has uniquely gorgeous personal style and her decorating touches on the salon reflect that, did I mention the free beer/​wine bar? What?! Even without the wine I feel at ease in Casey’s chair, she’s the real deal.
