Closed I eaten here for over 10 years and they have great food at a good price. But lately they have signs out with specials but the door is always locked

How could this happen? I am witnessing the epic failure of a once very successful restaurant. I was a long time customer of the original owners. My last visit to this location was almost a year ago as I stayed away after some disappointing experiences with the new owner. I went back tonight hoping for a positive experience. On a Friday night at 7, we were the only customers. The pizza was good but not great. Definitely thicker crust than it use to be. The service was fair and they seemed to be pushing us out at 8 to close the place down. This restaurant won’t last. It’s so sad to see.

We were doing the typical tourism while here in Carlsbad and randomly found them while Unilocaling. I have to say 5 stars for politeness. I had an idea of what we wanted– ordered a huge amount of food and the price was surprisingly low. Delivered to resort super quick and again another super nice polite staff member. Pizza was sooo good and piping hot! Salad was even great. Pasta was perfect and wings were great too. They even asked me if plates and cutlery were needed which I would have forgot. They get A+for everything and I will be sad when I am craving them from home
