My name is Jack and I’m a Southern California photographer specializing in creative portraits, wedding, and family photography. My style blends an editorial/​documentary approach with creative portraiture to capture real-​life experiences, emotions, relationships and personalities. Concentrating on the magic of the moment, results in storytelling imagery that is unposed and unplanned, immediate and unobtrusive.

I also have the training to generate traditional posed photographs, and I am an expert in use of various in-​studio and on-​location lighting techniques including use of strobes and off-​camera fill flash. I speak fluent Mandarin Chinese and Japanese.
