Funny… I phoned in the order, they phoned in the pizza. Save yourself the disappointment and go to Costco or order Domino’s. The pizza was soggy, topped with bland ingredients.

I treat myself to a Linguini w/​Clam Sauce about once a week (when I’m not travelling for work). This place is solid week after week and the employees are all good guys. Highly recommended.

We had just recently moved to Carlsbad and had heard about how Primo’s Pizza & Pasta, was the best pizza in town, It worked out perfect because it is right by the grocery store that we got to. Well, we decided to try it out for the first time today and we absolutely loved it! There is something about the real cheese that makes their pizza taste so good. I definitely have to agree the Primo’s is the best pizza! I’m hooked!

This is just a great pizza place. Minus 1 star because their delivery is sometimes quite slow but just call a bit ahead and problem solved.
Pizzas are great. But lately my thing has been the calzones. They have 4 types on the menu but you can add whatever you like. They are HUGE and can easily feed two. Or just me. If you want to die by carbs and cheese I highly recommend it. Wings are good as well but they could use a spicier sauce option for people like me who want to feel the burn.
Also, GREAT salads. Their antipasto salad comes with a dressing that is basically a chopped olive and pepper blend in olive oil. Its fantastic.
Really friendly delivery guys as well as the guys in the store. If you pickup the easiest way is to drive to the rear of the complex where the trucks deliver. There is a small parking lot thats perfect to park in and grab something to go.

Friends and I ordered 2 pizzas and a salad from this local establishment Tuesday night. We ordered at 8:30 and called at 9:20 to verify that they would still be bringing our order dispute the fact that they were already closed — at 9:50 our food arrived! And it was still hot! I also enjoyed the Caesar salad, great dressing. I will be a repeat customer.

Visiting Carlsbad. After Legoland, we searched for Pizza and pasta. We came across Primo Pizza and Pasta. We ordered Pepperoni Pizza, Calzone, Buffalo Wings and Spaghetti. The food were affordable and tasted great. The place is located by Ralph’s store and Starbucks. There’s a patio to hang out also. Casual dining. Relaxing. The staff were friendly. We will come back again.

Ordered delivery from this place before. Pizza is ok.
Maybe 3 stars for food. (Ordered from here because it is close to my house)
Waited 1.5 hours. Called them to see what the staus was.
The manager said the order taker marked it as pick up.
How can it be pick up when the order taker took down my address for delivery?
Ok the order taker messed up… fine.
The rating really reflects the «manager» response to customer service. Needs a lesson in how to deal with customers.
The half hearted apology is not so sincere especially when the corrective action involves waiting another 45 min to hour.
Needless to say they lost a customer. Honestly i dont think he cared.

Delicious food! The different pizzas and pasta are what we normally order and we have only come here for take out but you can dine in.
I wouldn’t say this is Italian fine dining however the food is consistently good and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Really appreciate these folks.

Down on vacation with the family. Got pizza to go. Pizza was delicious, didn’t take long considering I went right at dinner time on the weekend. Not too expensive although would have been nice if the employee offered the specials before I paid for the pizza. But the pizza was great nice and hot.

The food in this place is AMAZING however if I have to wait one more f******* minute for this pizza I’m going to SCREAM. It’s been 35 minutes and I’m still sitting here. There’s no one else I’m here either besides 3 other families. They need to invest in a turbo oven and not a 5 hour 1 watt oven.

Hands down. This place is worth stopping by our having delivered. We had the chicken parmigiana, lemon chicken linguini and the primo special pizza. So much food for all of us! Easily feed 5 people. Plus it was all delicious, we are only here for four days and will probably stop by again before we leave!

Primo has the best gluten free pizza I have ever had!
A lot of places attempt to put together a gluten free option and most fail. This pizza is no joke, I don’t know how they do it, but it actually tastes like pizza! Crazy, I know.

I happened to find this place thanks to Unilocal about 3 years ago? Maybe 4? Every year, in October, we are in the area and we have gone here to pick up our pizza to go. Good service, good food, good prices. I recommend it to anyone who lives or is in the area for the weekend.

Great pizza! The crust is one the thick side and very tasty, they use quality ingredients I can taste and tel. I have ordered the fettuccine as well, it was really good, very tasty and the noodles were cooked perfectly al dente. Love that you can sit indoors or out. I feel like the staff over all could be friendlier. I mean come on I am spending my money there, it would be so easy to go the extra mile. Service can be a little slow but I feel it is always worth the wait. I will keep coming back…

Somewhere between A-​Ok and Yay! I’m a fan. Overall taste is more towards A-​Ok but the pricing is more towards Yay! I’m a fan. Plus, if you check in with Unilocal before ordering, you might get a free drink (which I missed out on by checking in afterwards).
It’s located in a nice, small food court in the Ralph’s center. It’s all the way at the back so you might miss it if you don’t wonder back there. They have daily specials and the man who waited on my was happy to tell me about it. They also will provide one free re-​fill which was all I needed for my meal. They had a pasta special which included a salad. Nice, fresh salad, delivered about 5 minutes before you main meal (a nice touch as so many places now a days deliver the salad with the meal).
If you’re in the mood for a quick Italian meal and are in the area, worth a shot. Hope you enjoy it!

Super nice guys. Great service. Awesome Italian food.
I didn’t have any pizza, but the pasta was delicious. I had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. My wife had capellini with sundried tomatoes and mushrooms. Comes with really good garlic bread.
The dining area is small with a few small tables, but you can sit outside on the patio. For a small strip mall style eatery, they are doing it right. Bravo!

My favorite is the mushroom pizza and antipasta salad.
It is perfect for those nights you just don’t feel like cooking.
The staff is so friendly and quick! I place my order and it is always ready so quick!
In case you decide to dine in, they have indoor and outdoor seating, and beer and wine!
The trick is to drive around the back of Ralphs and park «front row» at primo.
