Pro Care Pool Service is a swimming pool and spa service, maintenance, and repair company specializing in the installation of variable speed pumps and salt water systems. Our service is cost effective and tailored for all types of swimming pools. We service all of North County San Diego.

History

Established in 2007.

As a teenager growing up, one of my chores on the weekend was to clean the pool in our backyard. I really enjoyed the pool and didn’t mind cleaning it. As I got older I realized I didn’t like having an office job and I didn’t like someone micro-​managing my every move. I had a friend who had a successful swimming pool business and I went to work for him. After a couple of years working for my friend I decided to start my own business.

Pro Care Pool Service is great! Ryan is very responsible, reliable, very friendly and knows what he is doing. I feel if there is ever a problem with the pool he takes care of it immediately and doesn’t give up until the job is done. For example. our vacuum was not working well. He came back several times until the problem was fixed, with no extra charge.
I would definitely recommend this company!

I called and spoke to Ryan and was super impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. Right off the bat, I was informed he unfortunately did not service my area for regular pool maintenance however, he stayed on the phone with me for a good five minutes as I had a million questions about pool servicing as well pool renovations.
I’m impressed with my initial contact with this company and will be contacting Ryan again to get an estimate on replacing all my old pool equipment.

Ryan and ProCare are awesome! I’ve had several pool services and none have been very reliable or compare to the full service of Pro Care. From upgrading pumps, performing repairs to weekly service this company is the best. Highly recommend them if you are looking for drama free, affordable, reliable and honest service. Totally trust him, you can’t go wrong with Pro Care. (I have been a customer for going on two years now)

Fast and Efficient and Affordable. Our pool needed to be drained (because of high salt content) and acid washed. The team came in and drained our pool and then the next day came in and performed the acid wash. Within 24 hours, our pool was filling up again.
Last year we were looking at having our pool water treated with Reverse Osmosis with another company but that was going to require a 3 month out appointment and cost twice as much as Pro Care Pool Service. Plus the other company WAS NOT going to acid wash the pool.

Switched to Pro Care and can definitely see a difference in the clarity of our water — the pool really sparkles.
I first reached out to them because my heater wasn’t working and the pool service we had at the time didn’t do repairs. They first tried «the easy fix» route to try to save me money but unfortunately it needed an entirely new heater. They had the old one out and the new one in working in about a week. Excellent work. I’ll be asking them for bids for a new control system soon

Ryan has always done a fantastic job with my pool. He handles my concerns as soon as they come up, and if there’s something he doesn’t know how to fix, he helps me find someone who can and makes sure they do it right. The pool always looks beautiful and inviting. I would definitely recommend him.

Would NEVER recommend. Applied an Angie’s List deal towards a trip when he already had diagnosed over the phone and showed up without the right part despite agreement in wiritng that the deal would be used for a separate service. We paid him for fixing the part and he separately redeemed the Angies List deal as well. Zero customer service in response to my dissatisfaction to his double charge.

Ryan’s service is the best, hands down. Shows up when he is suppose to, prices are more than reasonable and he takes his time to get our pool looking it’s best. He cares about the service he provides and it shows. He’s also helped with us with some general service issues on the equipment and is more than fair and reasonable as well as being quick to reply to texts, calls and come out to take care of our pool. Can’t even think about using someone else. He’s friendly, polite and easy to work with. If you are in need of pool service in the Coastal North County area — Pro Care pool is the way to go. I found Ryan through Unilocal and read all the reviews before calling him. The reviews were impressive and I didn’t have any word-​of-​mouth recommendations so I went ahead and had him come out for our attached Jacuzzi. I called him and left a message and he immediately returned my phone call and scheduled to come out the first working day. The jets were not properly working and there seem to be an air leak or something else going on with the system. He was able to find the air leaks right away and fixed the problem within minutes. When I asked what I owed him for his service he said it was too small of a problem to charge me and he was on his way to another home close by so even the ride out wasn’t a problem for him. These type of people are few and far between and you don’t meet them very often in business anymore. I will definitely be keeping his phone number in my contact list for any other future issues and be recommending him to all the friends who don’t have a pool repair person either. Thanks Ryan!

I was very impressed with Ryan. We had some damage to our pool and filter due to the Poinsettia fire. I called Ryan on a Wednesday evening and although he was very busy, he took the time to stop by that evening to give us an estimate. He is very knowledgeable and reliable. We called a number of other pool companies to give us an estimate and none of them responded as quickly as Ryan. He gave us the estimate within an hour of our meeting so that we could turn it into our insurance.
I would highly recommend his services and will be using him in the future for our pool needs.

Really impressed with their service. It is so nice to hire a professional who knows what they’re doing. I live in Oceanside and had Ryan service my dirty pool filter (hadn’t been done in quite a while) and he showed up on time, did a great job and gave me some good tips and tricks regarding pool service maintenance as well. Friendly, knowledgeable and competent, it doesn’t get much better than that.
Will hire him again, and would recommend Pro Care Pool Service to anyone.

Ryan was great. I sent him an email late in the evening and he got back to me right away. (It was a Sunday). The following day, a holiday, he came by in the morning and not only helped me understand what was going on with my heater, he took me through and gave me a full understanding of my entire system. I just bought my home, and it was extremely helpful.
In the end, he offered me a resource to correct my problem and didn’t even charge me for the trip. On top of that, Ryan came BACK and offered to try one other thing because he really wanted to try everything before I had to pay for an expensive part.
Honest guy, really nice, timely, super helpful… All around great guy, and a good experience. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for pool service.

Not only has Ryan showed us how to care for our pool, he has helped us install a new energy-​efficient pump and a new heater for the pool and spa.
