Dr. Winkler uses a Functional approach to treat illness and maintain health. Functional medicine is a systems oriented approach specific to each individual. It involves a partnership of the patient and practitioner to address underlying causes of disease. It concentrates on the whole person with regard to their individual genetics, environmental exposures. life style factors, spiritual, emotional and physical makeup. Each of these factors are an influence in chronic disease and our goal is to address each to bring about health and vitality.

History

Established in 2012.

Dr. Juergen Winkler co-​founded Genesis Health Systems (Integrative Cancer and Medical Treatment Center) located in Oceanside, CA and practiced there specializing in IPT, Bio-​identical Hormone Replacement, Chelation and Detox treatments. He left the Oceanside practice in July of 2012 and established Q.F.Med. in Carlsbad, CA on July 31, 2012, where he has expanded his practice, using the Functional approach to diagnosis and treatment of chronic disease and health maintenance.

Juergen Winkler, MD, ABIHM is presently practicing at Quantum Functional Medicine in Carlsbad, CA, which he founded in July of 2012. In 2005 he was the co-​founder of Genesis Health Systems (Integrative Cancer and Medical Treatment Center) located in Oceanside, CA. He has been a featured speaker for: the Annual IPT/​IPTLD Integrative Cancer Care Conference, Health Freedom Expo, the Japanese Society of Oxidative Medicine in Osaka Japan, ACOSPM conferences, NSCC Health/​Wellness Series, and various other events. He is the physician author of Chapter 5 in the Defeat Cancer book, and has been a featured physician in the Townsend Letter.
