Safelite AutoGlass

Nobody likes dealing with a rock ding in their windshield especially when it’s not your doing. Safelite was recommended by my insurance carrier. Making an appointment was easy [didn’t like having a wide time window] but they called me just before meeting me at my home.
My technician’s image was professional wearing a company shirt and asking me to see the vehicle. Daniel S. was professional, covered my hood with a blanket and spoke to me about what I could expect. Having observed that my windshield was repaired before, at nearly the same spot, he informed me of what other’s had experienced trying to make this repair and that it might not work. I appreciated his honesty.
Luckily, Daniel saved the windshield. He cleaned my windows and said that I didn’t need to take any other precautions. Good as new. He put away his equipment, cleared out any debris, and left everything as before except that my windshield was good to go.
Safelite and Daniel I would highly recommend!

Great staff that followed up with me and went the extra mile. When my insurance dropped the ball resulting in further complications of the repair Safelite stepped in and made things right. I was quickly scheduled an appointment and the work was completed in a very timely manner. I’ll recommend them to friends and family in the future. The staff at the garage was friendly and professional and able to answer any questions I had, these guys are fantastic!

Great experience. I had a small chip in my windshield so I called 2 other autoglass places before calling Safelite and they were both unhelpful. Safelite offered to come to me AND arranged for my insurance to cover the service. (Neither of the other places even mentioned that most insurance companies would cover it.)
Tracy was my friendly and informative technician. I was originally scheduled to have the service at home in the afternoon, but that morning she called to see if she could come over early. I agreed, but explained she would have to come to my church (nearby) as I would not be at home during the time she wanted to come by. She agreed to meet me in the church parking lot and it only took about 15 mins to fix the chip in the windshield.
The only TINY bummer was that the appt scheduler offered new wiper blades for a great price and I said YES but Tracy wasn’t informed so she didn’t have them in her van.

I’m sure these guys are great but $ 120? Local shop «the crack Doctor» did it for $ 85

Got a crack in my windshield last week from a 16 wheeler kicking back a stone to the front of my 2009 Volkswagen CC. I have Progressive car insurance and in the state of Florida if you have comprehensive coverage they cover the replacement of the windshield at no out of pocket expense, deductible nor does it raise your rate no matter where the incident happens. In my case it’s in the state of California so I had them schedule a mobile unit come to my job less than a week later, which was today.
My technician, Anthony was on time as scheduled. I received a text with his photo so I knew who I was meeting with and was very friendly in our encounter. The crack started around 6 inches and spread to almost 12 inches the time I was waiting for my appointment date. So Anthony replaced the entire windshield. Took about an hour but seemed like less since I was working the whole time.
When he called me to say it was done, he had also vacuumed my car, re-​placed all my interior windshield stickers and cleaned all exterior windows. Told me I would have to wait 24 hours before washing the car. Very satisfied with my experience, especially when you get top notch service and for once having car insurance worked to my advantage without costing an arm and a leg. Which would’ve been $ 412 out of pocket.

My auto insurance recommended safelite. He was on time, did a great job, and would recommend Safelite to anyone.
Only downside was two weeks after I got my windshield repaired, a rock hit my window again and cracked it –_​_​_​– Not sure if that is a weak glass product or just bad luck on my part.

I had an awesome experience with the mobile technician Tracy, who provided me with great service and all around awesome experience. We talked through the whole process and she was very polite and professional. As someone who is young this happens on a rare occasion. Besides herself I am very satisfied with the work they did to my jeep, and they guarantee that the crack doesnt spread for life! They have earned my whole families business for life.

I had the unfortunate luck of having something hitting my windshield and cracking it down the middle on Saturday. Upon a call to my insurance, they set me up for an appointment on Monday afternoon with Safelite in Carlsbad.
1. I received a phone and email confirmation.
2. I showed up at my appointment time and was seen immediately.
3. My vehicle was done in the time that was given.
I was here for about an hour. In that hour I observed several customer interactions. All of them were positive. Wayne, who took care of my vehicle, was so kind, patient and understanding with an elderly woman. Also, another guy showed up thinking his appt. was at one time, but he was about 4.5 hours late. Wayne took him right away.
John, the other gentleman working here, had another guy that showed up thinking his appt. was here in Carlsbad. He was able to find out that he was scheduled at another shop. He wasn’t able to take care of him today, but was able to accommodate him for 1^st thing tomorrow.
I was very impressed with their wonderful customer service and professionalism. I will definitely recommend these guys in the future!

They came through and fixed the windshield and repaired the mouldings. They also refunded my $ 500 deductible and fixed the damaged dashboard.

John was AWESOME!!! My rear view mirror had fallen off my front windshield. Toyota sent me to Safelite for service. I was in & out in 15 minutes! Super fast & super professional! AMAZING SERVICE — WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I sadly experienced the first rogue rock hitting my beautiful new car this weekend, well still feels new to me =)
Safelite was the first one on my list I wanted to work with thanks to some great marketing and the fact I would get to see a picture of the person coming out, meaning it felt more personal to me.
I have progressive so filed my claim online and choose my vendor of choice. They were able to schedule someone to come to my work on Monday.
Tracy was my tech and she was so nice and informative. She answered all of my questions, which I am sure she answers 10 times a day, with charm and wit.
It was such a great experience, I plan to not only use Safelite for this vehicle and my others but I hope to be able to request Tracy as well.

Safelite replace my windshield today. All aspects of my experience with Safelite, from customer service to Wayne who installed the glass, were excellent. Plus, the price was below my expectations and looks great. Nice job!

These guys are the best!!! Use them twice and no regrets. Great service. Honest, ontime and a good value.

They did a good job replacing my window, no problems a month later! Very fair price, they could have vacuumed the glass better than they did but that’s no big deal. Just don’t expect a full clean up!

The professionalism and quality of work produced made it a worthwhile investment. The crack in my front window is completely gone and that makes for a safer drive/​The service was also friendly and they showed they truly cared about my problem. Oh, they also had complimentary snacks and breverages.

My windshield got hit by a baseball. The appt was set up by my insurance as this is one of the companies they recommend. I received a confirmation e-​mail as soon as the appt was scheduled, and a phone call about 30 minutes before the tech was at my work for the mobile service. Stephen was extremely pleasant. He had the new window installed in just a little over an hour, vacuumed the inside to make sure he didnt leave any debris and cleaned not only the windshield but also the 2 front windows. He explained that their product and work has lifetime warranty, answered any questions I had, and gave me quick instructions on the after-​care. All receipts were emailed to me as soon as he was done.
I’ve dealt with other window replacement providers, and Safelite has been the best. Their service was extremely efficient and the tech was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I’d definitely recommend them to others.

I guess a small rock hit my windshield on my way to work, I didn’t even notice it, it was very close to the edge of the glass. After work I got in my car to go home and noticed a huge 18″ crack all the way to the center of the window from the edge!
Called safelight Saturday. Made an appointment for Tuesday from 8am — 1pm to get my window replaced. Tech got to my house at 9ish and did his thing, done in about an hour. I watched some of it and asked some stupid questions and he answered them all and was cool. Looks just like it was before, and he vacuumed the inside, cleaned all my windows and dash board.
Don’t think I could have asked for anything else.

I got a rock in the windshield on New Years Eve. My insurance suggested Safelite and made an appointment for me for that day. I arrived 30 minutes early and Maththew took me in anyways. That was nice. He estimated 30 to 45 minutes, it was 40 minutes. Excellent work. What was a quarter inch crack is not just a pin head sized spot.
Why only 4 stars? He was the only person there. I had to wait about 10 minutes for him to see me. If they don’t have a receptionist there, they should have a door bell or something to alert them to arriving customers.
As another has stated, it is not easy to find, it is in the back of the complex, so be sure to drive around.
