I was very disappointed with my experience with Dr. Sharma. I came for an overall health checkup and was told to come back for blood tests(I had to fast 8 hours), so I scheduled to come in the next morning for my blood to be drawn … and for five minutes with a nurse I was charged for a second office visit! I’ve had my blood drawn a few times before and I never have been charged before. Also since the staff KNEW I was coming in for blood tests, when they scheduled me they could have told me to fast before coming in. In my visit I had to explain what I wanted tested three times — first to the nurse who took my weight and vitals, second to an assistant doctor trainee, and finally to the doc himself for his short visit. If I had to tell the doctor, why do I have to tell the first two people? Why cant I tell them all at the same time? Why can’t the doctor read the notes they wrote instead of making me repeat myself? Annoying office setup. The wait wasn’t that long — maybe 30 minutes — but the double payment issue pisses me off. Finally, for my follow-up visit where the Doc reads me my test results … I got the automated phone reminding me of my appointment the night before … I called 30 minutes prior to see how late they were running, and they had no record of my appointment! «Sorry, the computer must have deleted it.» Really? No record at all? «Your computer knew last night I had an appointment! Surely there’s a note?» Nope. So I’m re-scheduled for this coming Friday. What amateurs. I’m so tempted to bail and just start the process over with a real doctor’s office so Sharma’s office doesn’t get my final co-pay. After Friday I’m never coming back.

Went here again last week as my normal doctor did not have any openings and I need a prescription refilled as it couldn’t be done over the phone. Had to come in and wait 2 hours to see him for 5 minutes even though I had an appointment. Was then told by him that he could only do 30 day prescriptions and not 90. My other doctor did 90 so I that what he said was not true. After talking to the receptionist, he gives patients 30 day supplies and not 90 day supplies so they have to come in to see him more often and he can make more money. I would rather wait 6 hours in the local ER than go back here. It was dumb of me to think things had changed.
