We are a passionate group fitness and indoor cycling facility in Carlsbad, dedicated to offering the best workout possible for you.

NO Memberships required! NO joining Fees!

Each SHIFT class is led by a motivational and knowledgeable instructor who will strive to make you sweat, your muscles burn, and enjoy your workout at the same time. We want to SHIFT the way that you workout and provide a fun and motivating atmosphere free of intimidation.

We offer three basic types of classes at SHIFT fitness.

SHIFTCircuit — Strength Based Circuit Training

SHIFTCycle — Indoor Cycling

SHIFTFusion — Combination Indoor Cycling and Circuit Training

In addition to these classes, we want to keep our clients hungry for new ways to train. Stay up to date on specialty classes, charity events, sport training programs, and more!

History

Established in 2012.

SHIFT fitness, located in Carlsbad, offers quality group fitness and indoor cycling classes. Our 1,800 square foot facility is designed to make it easy for the local community to get the best strength and aerobic workouts.

The atmosphere is free of intimidation and distraction. There’s nothing to hold you back from getting a great workout in every class. We want to help those of every fitness level and type progress and achieve their goals.

Meet the Business Owner

Daniel S.

Business Owner

Daniel completed his Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Tennessee. Before moving to San Diego, Daniel was an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of Tennessee Lady Volunteer Strength and Conditioning department. For over 10 years, he has helped individuals and teams achieve their fitness and performance goals.

In addition to teaching group fitness, Daniel enjoys working with high school athletes. He is also a strength & conditioning coach for Mount Carmel High School varsity swim team as well as the Pacific Swim club team.

Daniel’s mission is to provide state-​of-​the-​art fitness and conditioning principles to people who are looking to improve their overall fitness level, achieve a sport-​specific goal, or learn new ways to train
