Tom’s glasses added such a delightful touch to our company’s Tenth Anniversary event. Instead of the usual «throw-​away chocthkes» that some folks give-​away at their events, each of our Associates walked away with a personalized gift with a touch of class. Tom arranged for our company’s logo on one side of a wine glass, our Tenth Anniversary logo on the other, and put the hand-​engraved name of each Associate in the middle. The Associates had fun receiving the gift and watching Tom make it right in front of them. Tom is fast and good at what he does and smiles for every guest. Its a cool thing to watch!

Very nice guy but the work he did was of poor quality and I left really disappointed. I had him engrave a very nice stainless steel business card holder and the letters were a little crooked and the surface was not smooth, I Would not recommend him if you are looking for a quality professional look on your engraved item!

As a fellow engraver I was so impressed with what Tom and his talents let him do. I hired Signature Hand Engraving to engrave glasses at my parents 50^th anniversary! The impact that the simple giving of a logo’d glass given to each guest was nice, but what was memorable was watching Tom engrave their names on their glasses while they watched. It was nice to hear all the comments from the guest on it is so like the Norby family to show up at a special event like my parents 50^th and the guests receive a gift from the Norby’s.
Best part, people were using their glasses with their names on them, so for once I remembered everyone’s name :)

Tom Bwarie had changed his business from a gift basket store to a event attention getter! He goes to local events, weddings, corporate events, holiday party and brings wine glasses that he hand engraves on site with the guest name! Every time I see Tom at an event, people are crowded around him want their chance to see their name in on a wine glass! I am delighted to write a recommendation for Signature Hand Engraving who I first saw at the Trump National Golf Course. Right away, I knew that this was what I wanted to have for my wedding as a party favor. As a party favor, yes, this is relatively expensive, but if you are going to give away something to your guests, my philosophy is give away something of quality and something practical and with class.
Tom even came to my place before the wedding to show me sample glasses, but I didn’t hear him call me because I was working out and he came all the way from Carlsbad so we missed each other. He never expressed frustration and was very professional. Furthermore, he is very responsive and always responds to e-​mails in a timely manner.
The day of my wedding, he came on time and prepared. The quality of his glass (I got a tumbler instead of wine glass since we don’t have a lot of drinkers in our family) exceeded my expectations. The glass was thick.
If you can afford it, I highly recommend having this man engrave glasses for your event because it was quite a hit at my wedding. Tom has such beautiful handwriting and it takes him about 15 seconds to engrave each piece. I believe he has the most elegant handwriting style that I have seen on engraved glasses. I loved his glasses so much I ordered gray satin bags on-​line so the guests can have something to put them in. If Tom offered this type of service to people, he could make even more money and makes things easy for us! ;)

Forget your preconceived ideas about gift baskets– premade, boring baskets often filled with inferior products, candies, foods, drinks and accessories you didn’t pick out.
The first basket I ever created with Tom, we spent an hour picking out the right essentials that fit my budget. Be sure to choose something that Tom can engrave on and he will add a personalized message that will WOW you.
I honestly suggest a bottle of wine for that someone you don’t know what to get them. His handwriting and your message will ensure that the intended person of that bottle of wine, will never throw it away.
For larger companies, rather than the usual gifts, Tom does an amazing job building custom baskets for your clients and vendors. He made a dozen baskets for me last holiday and it was simply amazing.
I know I am gushing but its rare to find someone so kind, generous and honest, stop by and see him in the village in Carlsbad in the Ocean House/​Coyote Bar and Grill complex on the corner of the 101 Coast Highway and Carlsbad Village Dr.

This is a fun store that puts together very creative gift baskets. You can walk in and buy a pre-​made gift basket or you can custom order one. These baskets are great for last minute gifts for the person that has everything and needs a little more. Their items are more on the gourmet side as opposed to Queen Eileen’s in Encinitas who has a more eclectic style: however some of the things are quite amusing. Expect to pay around 200 bucks for a decent basket. They make smaller baskets that are more affordable but not as fun. This is a great place for Realtors as they make a new house basket.
For all you USC Fans, check out their USC basket… they don’t seem to offer any other team baskets but I guess you could ask.
One of the cool things is that they will engrave any glass item in your basket for free to make the gift more memorable I would imagine.
