The best furniture store in the area! They have everything from brand new, custom order sofas to small nicknacks for the house. The owners Nina & Vince couldn’t be nicer. Vince helped with all our questions & was able to get us the perfect couch both my fiancé & I were happy with. Thank you again Nina & Vince!

I recently customized a couch from State Street Marketplace and I absolutely love it! Vince and his wife Nina who own the store are talented, knowledgeable, and great to work with. I essentially gave them the dimensions of my living room and they drew up a couch that could be completely modifiable. The options are endless with this couch. I really loved their enthusiasm when showing me the different layouts and fabrics. There were so many fabrics to choose from (almost a little overwhelming) but I chose one that would be durable. Now after receiving my couch it not only has a kid and pet-​friendly fabric, but super-​deep seats and super-​comfortable back cushions. Oh and the price was at least $ 1,000 than any customized couch I would have found on the Internet. I highly recommend these guys and I will definitely be back to check out their consignment furniture. Their prices are unbelievable!

A great local consignment shop for furniture. A real mix of styles so probably something for everyone. Just like all second hand shops it’s a hit and miss with inventory. I purchased an old antique desk/​table. Good customer service and easy transaction. Give them a visit…

I come back here all the time to check the bargains to see what I should get next.
Lots of parking and the owners are very friendly, but most of all I love the dog, a gigantic Rottweiler, he sleeps on the floor, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen him move.

My husband and I customized the sectional of our dreams! It’s everything we wanted and more for a price that could have easily been doubled for what we asked for. Most importantly, the quality is impeccable and the service is outstanding. Vincent was so patient with us choosing every detail and measurement. After our sofa, we also customized an ottoman and bought two beautiful bedroom nightstands for an incredibly fair price. We couldn’t be happier! We call this wonderful place the furniture gem of North County.

I was a little skeptical. State street marketplace furniture is a husband and wife operation and prices was simple. At first thought a little pricey compared to Mohrs or living spaces. Then you dig a little deeper.
1. Honest owner and patient. I changed the cushions, layout, and color a few times. Each time both Nina and Vincent very engaged and attentive to each change. Each change reduced the cost and they refunded the money without me bringing it up.
2. They are partnered with a manufacturer in L.A. Using hardwood, good upholstery, materials, and liners (see photo’s). Unlike macys or z gallery, they don’t try to overprice their selection. They carry the most popular style that are modular to fit your space and small inventory to hold cost down. Not a lot of overhead.
3. They are not a price leader but it’s the best bang for the value. Imagine getting hand made, in the u.s., liners for both the cushions and back padding, using thick upholstery fabrics, and wrapped in down substitute call sleep fabric. See photo’s.
What are the down side. 4 weeks to deliver. $ 2200 up front cost; don’t get me wrong, at macys this sectional was $ 4000. Living space had something similar around $ 1100 but when you actually see it, it was cheap, would not last as a everyday sofa, and ugly micro fabric. $ 2200 hurt at the beginning and $ 85 home delivery. It’s a splurge but why pay for cheaper when it will fall apart or pay for name brand.
A week with the sectional with chaise, I can say worth the price, 4.6 out of 5.

This place is a little gem! Not only do they have incredible furniture pieces but the customer service is out of this world.

State Street Marketplace is the best kept secret for shopping in Carlsbad. They have a mix of new sofas for sale as well as refurbished furniture and décor. The prices are excellent. The store is clean and bright. All of the pieces are in pristine condition and browsing the store is so much fun. If you are into getting the best deal on super cute home décor, shop here!

My wife and I were more than impressed with this place! Prices are reasonable, quality is great. We ordered a beautiful couch and we’re able to customize the entire couch down to the pillows.
We loved chatting with the owners. They were kind, helpful, knowledgable, and overall great people. This made us want to come back again and again for our home needs.
Great location, and even just a fun place to walk inside even if you’re not looking to buy.

I am so happy We have found this place. After looking at a lot of furniture places for the perfect couch, we were so excited to find state street market place. We ordered our new couch from them and had it custom made. After only 2 weeks, it’s sitting in our house. It is beautiful and even better than expected. The service was great, they were so patient with us and gave us great advices. We could not be happier. Did I mentioned that they are amazingly priced!!! If you are looking for a couch like the ones at z gallery or pottery barn but do not want the price tag! This is the place for you! Also I would like to mentioned that the delivery service was really great! Th company that delivered is called Paul’s deliveries and I highly recommend to use them as well. We will be back! My husband and I visited the store right before closing. The man in the store was the rudest person I have ever come across. He made sure he informed us that he was just about to be closed and we were not welcomed. I would never shop at that store with such a mean person. Some of their stuff looked good but there was also a lot of junk merchandise.

Love this place. I finally went in today and got myself a gorgeous lamp. Nina has tons of personality (she should, she lived in Brooklyn like me) and was a breath of East Coast air when I went in. She let me plug in whatever lamps I wanted to see how they lit up. She’s got a great selection of pieces from places like World Market, West Elm and also high-​end designers. She’s got great taste and it’s well curated so you aren’t climbing over piles of things. Her prices are awesome. I picked up a gorgeous ivory lamp for less than half the retail price. I can’t wait to bring my girlfriends here!

This is definitely the best consignment shop in North County. So many out there are full of junk. This one mixes slightly used and new home furnishings including very simple pottery barn style love seats and sofas. I stop by here regularly as their inventory is always changing and their prices are very fair. They have even been negotiable a time or two. Highly recommended!

i am so glad I found this place. They have a huge selection of used furniture. The owners are really nice people and I look forward to going in there and browsing. You must visit and check them out!

What a fabulous find, and such a professional and friendly place! I had several very nice pieces of furniture that just didn’t work in our new house. Too nice to give away, a little leery of Craig’s List to sell. This was the perfect option to sell my nicer pieces of furniture! Nina told me her stock usually turned over in about 4 weeks, and she was right on the money! Plus, I was able to find several very special and unique replacement pieces of furniture, so it was a win/​win! I was able to purchase designer-​quality pieces of furniture for a fraction of the cost. I would highly recommend State Street to anyone either looking to sell their nicer pieces of furniture, or those who might be looking for high-​end furniture at a significantly attractive price point! The owners are very friendly~ stood and talked with them for a bit. The selection was not as much as I had hoped, but the mix of items was great. The prices are quite reasonable and I will be going back!!!
