History

Established in 2005.

by Andrew Hartman, whose love of learning, self-​starting nature and a fascination with technology since the ‘80s, when he taught himself BASIC on the precursors to today’s personal computers, are what led him to form the company.

At first, the majority of Syndeo’s business was responding to emergency calls for computer repair, but Hartman saw that businesses that did not have their own IT departments still needed an advisor they could trust to provide them with technology solutions and advice so they could be proactive instead of simply waiting until something broke.

He began to shift Syndeo’s focus from simply responding to problems to preventing them, by advising his customers on IT solutions that combine quality, value, ease of use and scalability, essentially becoming a virtual CIO and IT Department.
