Tara’s Draperies And Custom Bedding

I have lived nearby for the past year and we have used Tara’s numerous times. At one point I was flying out frequently across the county for interviews and of course using the same suit for all of them. When I only had 2 days between flights I dropped off the suit and came by early to see if they were done. They still had the jacket left to do so I went to the nearby Starbucks and by the time I came back she had finished my suit and came out to my car to let me know. I think this was above and beyond what they needed to do and they have forever earned our loyalty and continue to do so by having exceptional customer service every time.

I was looking around for a place to get my alterations done. (I have a go-​to place in LA near family where I usually go.)
I am so happy I found this place. I had three pairs of jeans that I needed the length to be taken in. These were brand new ‘nice’ jeans that I didn’t want to get ruined.
(Note: I had previously taken a pair of new ‘nice’ jeans to a dry cleaner in Carmel Valley who shortened them too short and not as I asked and would not take responsibility so it was $$ down the toilet.)
In my case, I wanted the original hem of the jean to show (so that it didn’t look like they were taken in). Not every tailor can do this or can do this well. If you don’t do it this way, you have a fresh stitch line of where you took the length in that shows on the bottom of your nice jeans.
Well, in short, Tara does this very nicely. She is a true seamstress/​tailor and not a dry cleaner who cuts and patches your clothes together. I would go to her for the clothes that you want truly altered well.
