Our Carlsbad location opened in December 2009 in The Forum Shops.

Tom and Charlet Y.
Business Owner
Tom Yoo became a fan of The Counter back when he was living in Santa Monica and working in finance. He often spent lunch breaks at The Counter, until one day he saw a sign announcing that The Counter franchises were available. Taking this as a sign, Tom quit his job and moved to Carlsbad to oversee the opening of his first San Diego location. Owning the franchising rights to the San Diego region, Tom and his wife, Charlet, plan to open five Counter Burger locations in San Diego County over the next few years.
Tom and Charlet are proud to be part of a restaurant that takes pride in the quality of its food and ingredients. Look out for other locations in Del Mar and around San Diego!
