History

Established in 2010.

Nothing is more authentic than T3 Gear. As former Navy SEALs, T3 designs gear to function in the most extreme and destructive saltwater environments. And no other gear manufacturer has their perspective or their access – T3’s headquarters is on the famed Navy SEAL base in Coronado, California.

It all started when T3 had the good fortune to take over a former taco shop on the Coronado base. Everything they design is guided by their close connection to active duty SEAL operators. And every piece of their gear is thoroughly tested in the field.

While their roots are in the SEAL teams, their gear has evolved into a line of inventive products for everyday adventurers. Gear designed with the creativity and durability a special operator requires is now available to the everyday explorer.

All T3 Products – which feature a lifetime warranty – are made in the USA. They do this so T3 has the closest possible connection between SEAL input and gear production.

This place is PRICE GOUGING, this place is ripping people off.
They are trying to charge $ 99 for a brick of 500 .22 lr Armscor rounds, true price gouging.
I found .22 lr at North County Firearms $ 32.95 for a box of 300 CCI .22 lr and $ 39.95 for a box of 500 Remington .22 lr thunderbolt ammo. So I bought a box of each.
And then that night at the Poway Weapons and Gear range I found boxes of 500 Remington .22 lr thunderbolt ammo for $ 42 so I bought 5 more boxes.
I asked why they were trying to sell it for so much and his answer «It’s a sign of the times man». Yeah a sign to never go there and warn others to stay away.
I will NEVER go to Trident Tactical Technical T3 Gear ever again, you will not get price gouged at North County Firearms in San Marcos or Poway Weapons and Gear.

Stopped in here on a walk with the dog, what a surprise, a good selection of inventory and some nice helpful folks working the counter.

I’m giving this place 3 stars because of the good selection here, and the friendly staff. But the biggest thing that makes me irritated is the overpricing of a lot of the gear here. For example, a Leupold RX-​1000 rangefinder, which at any retail store is 399, they had for 525, pelican cases that you can find all day anywhere else for 199, they have for 307. Box of Hornady self defense ammo that usually runs 18 bucks, they have for 28… if you have tons of money to spend and don’t care about WAY overpaying for a majority of their items, this place would be great for you. But there is many other great stores in the area that are much more competitive.

Awesome Storefront in the Carlsbad village. If you are a gear junkie this is the place for you. All the tactical nylon produced by T3 is 100% American made and has a lifetime warranty. Everything they make is top notch and built to last. All of the employees at the shop are super friendly and always willing to help you out and answer questions. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!
They have great deals on wetsuits and other O’neill Products.

Awesome storefront with lots of useful tactical and outdoor gear! The crew at the shop is friendly and helpful, and creates a great buying experience.
Definitely a useful place for military and law enforcement needs, but there is a huge selection for enthusiasts and general public as well.
The T3 nylon products are high quality and built to last. Lifetime guarantee on their gear. Definitely check them out if you’re in the market, or just happen to be in the area.

Went here on March 26, 2014. Couldn’t have been happier. The man that worked that day and answered all of my questions was great. I am always skeptical when I go in tac shops because I am usually treated like crap (Cough** Quantico in Oceanside**Cough). I will definitely be back. This shop will have all of my business in North County. They carry some expected things like Magpul furniture and Benchmade, but they have higher quality clothing. Ill be back for sure.

This is best tac store in San Diego county by far. The nylon mollie gear is just outstanding. Lots of high quality gear and equipment and a good place to go for weapon accessories and upgrades. The gear is pricey but it’s dependable and what I want when I go down range. I recommend this place to all the guys in my unit and to anyone who’s about ready to deploy. I just wish they would get the weapons in soon!

This place is effin rad for a gear junkie. The had everything I’ve ever wanted in a gear store, ranging anywhere from books to knives and gun parts. Their gear for service members is extraordinary and clearly a-​lot of thought has been put into the designs of the pouches and Molle. Their clothes were minimal but still seemed to have everything a contractor would need.
They had a pretty great selection of custom knives and more popular ones such as SEAL Pups from SOG, Spyderco and Gerber. The custom knives were what interested me the most being that they were made locally in San Diego. I might just have to snag one next time I’m back. Head on into this store if you like some tactical gear and you might walk out with more than what you would have preferred.
