US Healthworks Physical Therapy Department

A pathetic little place for physical therapy. I have been inside dozens of gyms and physical therapy departments, US HealthWorks is the worst yet. An overwhelming stench of BO emanates from somewhere deep inside even when patients are nowhere to be seen.
The dated equipment, combined with glaring fluorescent lights provides no incentive to participate in therapy here. The doctor who referred me told me that I would be getting manual therapy and electronic therapy on my injured neck. After sitting in a flimsy chair and waiting for my therapist to get me, I was guided to a little discussion room. My neck was feeling better with the pain relievers, muscle relaxants, hot and cold therapy. She suggested that there was little that they could do with somebody fit like me and that they really specialized in getting slothful people moving.
This is the type of place that employers use to get their employees out of the workers comp system. In My humble opinion, part of the strategy includes providing such a crappy rehab setting that people say that they feel better just to avoid being in this horrid location. They specialize in getting their patients to the lowest level of mobility mandated by insurers. I can do much better in my own family room.
