We hired Clay of Walking Eagle Photography to be our wedding Videographer and he was fantastic. We just received our video and it was beyond amazing. Such great quality of video. Everyone tells me it looks like a movie! To be honest I barely even noticed him during our wedding. He was able to blend into the environment perfectly allowing us to be natural and ourselves and not feeling like we had to perform for the camera. It was perfect! I was a little particular with the type of song I wanted to go with our video and the song he chose was also perfect! He chose one that fit our personality and flowed with the video flawlessly. PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT!!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Clay and his videography skills! He will not disappoint you!

I can’t say enough about my experience with Laura at Walking Eagle Photography. She recently shot our maternity & newborn sessions for our second daughter. I was amazed that she was able to capture such great shots even with our toddler running all over the place. Laura is also really quick at giving a sneak peek and she is great at making you feel at ease during the session. The images she gave us will be treasured for a lifetime.

Laura and Clay did our Christmas card photos last year and we decided to use them again this year! First of all they are such an amazing team together (it’s very inspiring!) and that shines through when you are doing a photo shoot with them. They have a great eye for lighting and special backgrounds and always pick really cool locations. They also make it really fun! They are really good at setting you up in good positions and making sure your hair isn’t in your face, etc. The photos come out beautiful too and we always get compliments on them! They are super easy to work with and genuinely nice people that just want you to be happy with your photos. We will definitely be using Walking Eagle in the future and recommending them to our friends. :)

I don’t even know where to start with this truly talented team of photographers! Like many excited brides, I also felt very overwhelmed and kind of lost when looking for a photographer. I happen to come across Walking Eagle Photography through a search and after looking at some other photographer’s portfolios I just fell in love with Walking Eagle Photography’s style! Laura is so easy to get in touch with, and an absolute joy to work with, and she always answered all of my questions quickly and was always so sweet and professional. At first I was hesitant to include an engagement session in our package, but if I have one piece of advice, it’s to do it! I was so nervous having never had professional photography done before, but Laura and Clay were so inviting, professional, and personal! They drove to the location I wanted and were so excited and supportive of my idea of including my horse in the session. It was so much fun, and better yet they are the most beautiful pictures I have! They captured such beautiful and intimate pictures that I am so happy to have forever! It’s nice to have pictures of you and your soon to be husband not just in your wedding dress and tux. As far as the wedding pictures go, our wedding was a few months back and I still get teary looking through our wedding pictures almost daily. Laura and Clay gave me the best possible gift, which are all of the memories from that day, and they give you ALL the rights to your pictures from the start! (which is hard to believe, but not many photographers do.) The pictures are so stunning, and Laura and Clay made us feel so at ease during that exciting yet stressful day. They went out of their way to get them selves able to come onto the Naval base where our wedding was, and they made that day so easy. I truly think of Laura and Clay as friends now, and these two people are the most talented out there for all your photography needs and we can’t wait to use them soon for our future family!

Walking Eagle Photography brings out the beauty in everyday life. My cousin had Walking Eagle do her wedding and engagement photos years ago, and they were so beautiful they stuck in my mom’s and my mind until it was my turn. From the first sit down with Laura discussing our engagement and wedding photos, I knew I needed to look no further. Laura is so personable and sweet, and the portfolios she brought really highlighted her and her husband Clay’s talent. Clay is just as wonderful and they are a true power couple, but humble at the same time.
They are very flexible, my husband and I have very different schedules and they worked around that in order for us to get our save the dates out on time. I couldn’t decide on what to wear, so they let me have a total of 3 outfits. My husband and I are no models and they helped balance the fact that we don’t know how to position our bodies in front of the camera, with the fact that we didn’t want to look posed while putting us at ease.
We have gotten endless complements on how beautiful our pictures have turned out, and it is all thanks to their talent. We ordered the photo/​video package and the video is just as amazing as our photos. When my husband and I imagined our wedding one of the top priorities of ours was to make it fun, and the highlight video we got from them definitely captures that essence. One of my friends stated, «this is a full on music video,» and another said «I got the chills so many times, I love how up beat and fun the video is instead of cheesy, it came out amazing.»
I could not be happier that I trusted Walking Eagle Photography to capture these once in a lifetime events. They are beautiful people inside and out who work hard to make sure what you get is flawless. If you are wondering if you should choose them for any event the answer is YES, you would be crazy not to!

Laura and Clay are just simply amazing! They shot both our engagement and wedding photos and we are oh so thankful to have chosen them! Where to begin! Laura and Clay are just such an amazing couple and I feel so grateful to have gotten to work with them for our wedding. I can’t stop going through all of our photos! Walking Eagle Photography came to our home for a lifestyle newborn photoshoot with my husband, myself and our newborn baby. Laura did such an amazing job — she made us all feel comfortable and was able to capture us as a family in a very sweet way. She was even able to incorporate our two dogs in some of the photos. I’m so happy to have such amazing photos that captured this moment in our lives that we can forever cherish. I will definitely be using them again!

Walking Eagle Photography came to our home to do a lifestyle photo shoot of my family and it was such a great experience! Before the session I had emailed Laura some ideas and different pictures that I wanted to make sure we had and she made sure to bring the list with her and make sure that we got every picture that I had suggested. We found Walking Eagle Photography because the woman who was first recommended to us was not in town when we needed our photos taken, she recommended Walking Eagle Photography and it was truly a blessing. We have had Clay and Laura take family photos at the beach 3 years in a row (and counting). They have a way of taking the most amazing candid photos and now my home has photos all over the walls from our summers at the beach.
