Proprietors Andre and Elizabeth Lemaire want to share a Carmel favorite that lures locals and visitors with its chic style and neighborhood charm. Chef Andre Lemaire prepares authentic French Bistro Cuisine with a Californian Coastal flair. Our friendly atmosphere buzzes with excitement and energy that makes you feel your dining in one of the small neighborhoods inside Paris.

Diners at the Bistro have a special advantage with the Bouchée wine shop. Because of it, the restaurant can offer a much greater selection of bottles on its wine list and there is a tremendous flexibility in creating wine flights for the chef’s menu items.

Andre’s Bouchée Bistro and Wine Bar features wines by the glass and a full wine list. The wine bar opens at 4:00 pm daily. Dinner will be served from 5:30 p.m. — 10:00 p.m. nightly. Reservations are recommended at the restaurant, telephone 831−626−7880. We are open for lunch from 11:30 until 2:30 Wednesday through Sunday.

Business Owner

Born Parisian, Chef and Owner Andre Lemaire has over forty years of cooking experience. To expand his culinary knowledge and to see the world Andre has worked in many places including Russia, France, Corsica and Africa. Settling with his family in the lovely town of Carmel-​By-​The-​Sea he and his wife opened Andre’s Bouchee in May of 2009. The cuisine is French and the menu includes traditional dishes such as Foie Gras, Escargot and Sweetbreads along with specials from the California coast such as sea scallops and other delicious fish entrees. Please come in to try our braised Lamb Shank with a lime and maple sauce. Specials Change weekly!
