Senior Safety: Certified Aging-​In-​Place (CAPS) Specialist Planning modification and making changes to your home that can help you continue living there comfortably and safely– those are the provinces of a Certified Aging-​in-​Place Specialist or (CAPS)Being a CAPS professional, we have learned strategies and techniques for designing and building attractive, barrier-​free living environments. A CAPS professional: Meets the housing needs of age-​50+ population, Identifies a nd/​or makes home modifications or changes to help people live independently in their homes at later ages and Finds solutions to common obstacles that make houses unsafe or uncomfortable.

Established in 2001.

The business was started in 2001. Our purpose and mission from the beginning has been to make homes safer and allow people of ages and abilities to Age-​In-​Place. We originally started the business solely doing childproofing services. It evolved over time because our clients needs changed. We loved keeping children safe at home but quickly discovered we could offer products and services to people of all ages and abilities.

Home Safe Homes has become the local expert and go to provider when it comes to childproofing, accessibility remodeling, and home modification services.
