I’ve been coming to this place for years and have been a huge fan ever since. Muldoon’s is the perfect all American restaurant in the heart of downtown Carmel. When I used to come here when I lived in Carmel, I never ventured out and ordered anything besides the burgers here. What can I say, they’re amazing! I just wished I ordered something else because it seems like they have a lot more to offer.

One of my all time favorite restaurants right in the heart of downtown Carmel! They are known for their breaded tenderloin, but my absolute favorite sandwich is the Vegetarian Reuben! I crave this sandwich and have tried to get my go-to place downtown to put it on the menu! Its that good! What I also love is the crab cake salad. So what do I do? Get both and feel way too full after! The salad is massive so you must have a person to share with if you attempt a double entrée like me! Haha! The outdoor patio is great in the summer! Staff are always friendly. Food is timely and prepared great! Definitely go!

Great place! The breaded tenderloin really is the best as proclaimed. The JUMBO onion rings are awesome too! Our daughter had the blueberry pancakes for Sunday brunch — looked delicious and she was pleased. Delicious food with great service… we’ll be back for sure!

I went here for dinner with a small group. We sat on the patio which was really nice. The food was very good. Best buffalo style wings I’ve had since moving here almost 2 years ago. I ordered the Greek plate which I really enjoyed and would totally order again. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food, but the star of the table was the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was SO good! Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired. We had to ask for water refills and additional appetizer plates more than once. Our waitress was nice enough, but not very attentive and wasn’t able to answer some of our questions correctly about menu and drink items. Perhaps she was new? Nevertheless, the food was good enough that we will definitely return despite the mediocre service.

I really liked Muldoon’s! Not going to lie, kind of concerned when I saw 3.5 stars on Unilocal. But overall my impression was great! I stopped in with my out-of-town boyfriend to try the pork tenderloin sandwich. We both got regular sizes and I have no regrets. I got mine with the chips, and he got the slaw. The sandwich was one of the best pork tenderloin sandwiches I’ve had yet in Indy. I’ve tried searching for the best one, and thus far, this is it! To make things better, the chips were a good side which I was surprised about since fried food with fried food is usually a lot for me, but I enjoyed it. However, if you want something relatively lighter(or at least not fried), be like my boyfriend and go for the slaw. It was the perfect accompaniment and balanced the friend pork very well. I’ll end the review saying that I’m 5’2 and very petite girl, who finished the entire regular sized pork tenderloin sandwich. It’s filling as hell, but damn was it worth it. If you don’t think you can eat it all, go for the mini, which is just as good — just a wee bit smaller.

Can you say GIANTONIONRINGS?!? I’ve come here a few times now with my parents and we really enjoy it here. The staff is very friendly and the food is always good ! We finally decides to try the onion rings between 3 of us and wow… Just wow. They are beyond delicious and literally the size of your plate! So if you’re in Carmel wanting a relaxed place for a pleasant afternoon lunch, check out Muldoons! Can’t wait to go back for more onion rings ha!

This is the second time we have eaten here in the last couple months. My kids want to go there for the Tenderloin sandwich, which they think is great. I on the other hand was trying to find something that was different and thought I would try a meal that was Irish. I ordered the Irish Stew of which I have had at several other Irish pubs before. It came out with a a heap of meat, but it’s all just boiled broth thin soup. Definitely not the thick rich stew I had expected. Very dissapointed in that dish, so I thought I would warn others. The service was better than average and all our food was hot and fresh. They rock any kind of deep fried, Tenderloin, wings, fries. Don’t get the stew: p

Burger was perfect and the side salad is good size. Kids grilled cheese is very small. Our server was excellent!

Great find. Tried the Pint Room across the street first, but their kitchen closed early. Wandered over here and upgraded. Very welcoming atmosphere and staff.

This is a great little pub for drinks or to hang out. They have a little patio area, great for people watching. My favorite thing here is they make their own Shandys with Harp beer and lemonade. They are quite refreshing for the summer time.

Why do the servers have tables so far apart? They have inside and outside so they can not see what their customers need.

After spending 4 months in Ireland, I’ve been looking for a place with a decent Irish Stew, and Fish and Chips. This place did not disappoint! The Irish Stew was absolutely AMAZING– by far the best I’ve had in the states! The Fish and Chips was good too. My mom and I were able to sit outside in the patio. The service was fantastic– our waiter was not constantly over our shoulder, but was quick and attentive when we were ready to order. At first glance, I thought the price was perhaps a dollar or two too expensive for the product offered. However, when we received the food– it was well worth it! I will be coming back here whenever I am in the area!

I went in to Muldoon’s with my folks, hoping to enjoy some inexpensive burgers and drinks in a relatively expensive area – Carmel. My parents aren’t ones to complain that often about meals. In fact, they are quite easy to please normally. But, even when my grease-loving mum herself notes how her Patty Melt was too horribly greasy, you know the place is not worth a second visit. Not only was our food less than stellar, our service left a lot to be desired. Our server was very forgetful and not at all attentive. If you’re looking for pub fair, I recommend Matt the Miller’s or The Pint Room instead.

I enjoyed a tenderloin :) It was delicious with onions and mayo. We were able to get seated right away. Our server was very helpful. We had a groupon and she assisted us with that. Also the coleslaw is awesome :)

Yeah — this place was … okay … I’m not sure if we’ll be back. I have nothing to complain about really. The fish & chips was fine. I guess I just expected something to knock my socks off, and that didn’t really happen. Still though, the location can’t be beaten.

I sat at the bar for a quick lunch on a Friday afternoon and had a friendly and attentive bartender. Probably one of the best and biggest breaded tenderloins I’ve ever had, served with fresh toppings. All sandwiches are served with potato chips and I substituted a side of cole slaw for $ 1 and it was delicious. I feel it was pricey for a lunch to be $ 16 with tax but everything was good. Soft drinks are $ 2.95 each, which in my opinion is high.

Muldoon’s is always a good time! Whether you go for St. Patrick’s Day, a work lunch, or an outing with friends, you always leave feeling like you made a good decision. On my most recent visit, I dined outside on their patio during one of the few sunny days we’ve had here in Indy and enjoyed the chicken sandwich along with a cold brew. Relaxing and refreshing! I’ll choose Muldoon’s over any place in the Arts District just because of the successful meals and service I’ve experienced. Definitely a place to check out!
