Located on 206 acres in Hamilton County, Prairie View Golf Club is the only Robert Trent Jones, Jr. golf course in Indiana. We are a full service golf course and banquet facility featuring 18 holes of award winning golf, professional training at our academy, custom club fitting, practice green, outdoor driving range, and heated driving range stalls. History

Established in 1997.

Prairie View is Robert Trent Jones Jr.‘s first Indiana design, and its opening in 1997 raised the bar for all that would follow. A magnet for golfers from the major metropolitan areas of Northern Indiana, the course is also becoming known as a «player’s club,» where the hot sticks can always find a game. Prairie View is the dream of developer Jim Ackerman and son-​in-​law Brian Nicholoff. There was a great deal of engineering necessary to bring Priarie View, laid out over former soybean and corn fields, to fruition. The land is long-​term leased from Conner Prairie, a historic re-​enactment village directly across the river from the course. Housing will never intrude on the environmentally-​protected land or obstruct the view. In honor of this connection to Indiana history, the club house was modeled after an 1830’s prairie home and the golf club as a whole has many rustic features.
