We’ve been a part of the Carmel, Indiana community for years, with our foundation established on the service and reputation of a wine store of a bygone era, once a nostalgic landmark in Indianapolis.

Great over craft beer & wine selection and I’ve shopped here multiple times lately. Staff is knowledge and friendly and the store is well stocked with high quality products.
I’ve docked one star due to overall communication on special releases. They seem pretty fair on how they distribute releases, but there is a disparity on information. Ex. Stating a day, but not time or stating a day, and then releasing the product a day earlier. Though I’m sure it’s not easy will the volume of calls and inquiries they receive from people looking for more rare products with low product allocations.

Vine & Table has come into our lives like a wrecking ball! Yes, that was a Miley Cyrus reference and no, I’m not apologizing. My husband would live here if it was possible. In fact, I know ya’ll have a back room for tastings, he would pay you rent to live there just so he could purchase the latest additions to the store. My husband is really loving craft beers right now and I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Vine & Table has one of the most impressive and biggest selection of craft beers. I know that they are known for their wines (huge selection here too!) and even host free wine tastings each Saturday, but we come here for the beer! Product flies off the shelves here and I’ve seen it numerous times. There are some shoppers that come into the store and make a beeline for the latest and greatest brew and others that come for the education of it all and like talking with the staff members to see if they are making a good decision with what they put in their basket. My husband is at Vine & Table almost every weekend to stock up on new brews and old faves. I’ve even learned a thing or two and am a recent convert to stouts which I never thought I’d like.
Apart from all the liquid greatness in this building, they also have tons of food selections that pair great with wines and/​or beers and even offer samples of quite a few gourmet foods while you’re shopping. They can also put together gift baskets which would make anyone’s day better. Vine & Table has a clear objective: showcase great product from around the world and locally to provide an experience that gets you excited to try new things. Isn’t that what life is all about? :)

Amazing «liquor store». This is so much more than I liquor store. This is great for finding a gift for someone who appreciates hard to find craft beers or high end wines. I went in looking for Tin Man apricot sour beer and came out wanting to refinance my home to invest in craft beers. Its clean, well organized and the staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable

This is in Carmel and is a really nice store. The staff are friendly and were quite helpful. I didn’t spend as much time sampling this trip as I would have liked but it was a pleasant experience. Vine and Table hosts many events and I was there to get my tickets for the Whiskey and Fine Spirits expo held at Montage. A great event, yes a bit pricey, but when you have the opportunity to taste $ 1000 a bottle whiskey and $ 200 bottle bourbons it pays for itself. The food at the event was great also.

Vine and Table in Carmel used to be such a great store. Great cheese great gifts and chocolate and of course a good selection of beer and wine. It has really gone down hill with very little good items. Even the Wine and Beer selection is slipping.

Vine & Table is seriously impressive! First of all, they don’t allow anyone inside the store who isn’t at least 21 years of age (not even if they’re accompanied by an adult), so leave the kiddies at home. Second of all, come prepared to sample all kinds of wonderful things: from wine to spirits to dips to appetizers to chocolate. It’s like a food– and alcohol-lover’s paradise in here.
There is one main entrance, then to the right is a door that takes you to the wine section, and to the left is the beer section. Spirits are in the middle, kind of.
The staff seems pretty knowledgable and will recommend things to try that you might not have considered. One of the men who helped me find a wine was wearing a suit — nice touch!
Overall, everything is first-​rate here.

One of the best things about Vine & Table is the selection. Walking through the craft beer aisle can be overwhelming but the organization is a big help to decision making. Take advantage of the staff. They are always willing to answer questions, and make suggestions. The free tasting events are a great way to try a variety without commitment. The events are accompanied by a knowledgeable craftsman with each table. There are some great local discoveries if you take time to peruse the aisles. Try the samples for great hosting party ideas.

Wine tasting less than 1.5 miles from my house? Yes please. I do not know how I’ve lived four years in Carmel and never been to this place and now… you may have to forcefully remove me. What a great place to get specialty wines, champagnes, cheese, chocolate and meats. YUMMO. And a great staff that created a nice gift bag for my gift. I will definitely make this my «go to» for something special for those friends who REALLY need a drink! And I will definitely come back for the wine tastings. Jealous we didn’t have time to join the group enjoying samples our first time in. Next time, Vine and Table, next time.

My husband requests a road trip here at least once a year to re-​up his scotch collection. Their selection is amazing (witness the fact that we live right outside Chicago and have to drive to get things he can’t buy anywhere else). Also a really nice selection of interesting liqueurs and beer.

The best time to check out Vine and Table is during the monthly tasting events. Every first Wed of the month, they host a Pick 24 party which allow guests to sample their top 24 wines, all of which are priced $ 24 or less. They also host tastings for beer, whiskey, and other types of drinks. I have attended beer tastings from Bell’s, Rogue, and other craft beer brewers.
In addition to wine and beer, they also have a good selection of meats/​cheeses and gourmet food items.
Vine and Table closes at 7PM. If you are going in the evenings, get there early before the store closes.

Go see Denis, the Irish fellow who really knows his stuff. His knowledge will unlock the secrets and nuances of whiskey from his homeland and across the way in Scotland. Questions on anything else? He has that covered.
Free tastings of a vast amount of spirits and wine are to be had before you purchase. They also give love to the new and exciting Indiana spirits such as Sorgrhum (Indiana sorghum rum) and Spring Mill Indiana Straight Bourbon.
Great local and craft beer selection. The building is charming and split into 2 parts. The alcohol on one side, gourmet grocery items on the other.

I’ve always enjoyed shopping here, and it’s an even better experience now that the food and wine shops are in one big happy space. And if you have any questions about Whisky, be sure to ask for Denis, the whisky/​spirits specialist from Ireland … he’s very generous with the «wee drop.»

Great place for wine, beer or fancy cheeses and stuff:-) They have huge selections of wine, for every budget. If you can’t find it here, pick another wine.
The beer selection is big, too. They have some very obscure beer to choose from. Good times.
They also have lots of tastings and special events, so it’s worth getting on their email list.
They are also generous with samples. Just ask.
They have a deli area for sandwiches. These are wonderful, but pricey. You are getting quality though.

The staff members on the wine side are always helpful and knowledgeable, and they have a nice selection of chilled beer and wine in the walk-​in cooler at the back. The best part about the chilled drinks is that you can purchase them in the wine store, carry them over to the gourmet food/​deli side, purchase a cheese platter at the café counter, and then sit at a bistro table to nibble cheese and drink your frosty beverage. They have excellent sandwiches at the café, also, and a solid stock of local goods in the grocery section (Local Folks Foods and Farm to Kitchen Foods, among others). I’ve never tried any of the fantastic-​looking chocolates behind the candy counter, but they look impressive!

Great place to pick up food & beverage. Their website is really helpful in finding if they have a particular wine in stock and the price. It also allows you to search their inventory based on parameters — which is great for browsing. Once in the store, I have always found the staff to be helpful in finding what I’m looking for.
They have a newsletter you can sign up for at the register that will remind you to visit during their free tastings on Saturdays.
As far as the food goes… very yummy for lunch! They have everything you would expect from a soup/​sandwich/​salad shop PLUS sushi made to order at a very good price. You can dine in or take your order to go. As well as shop for food items and cooking ingredients.

Good for wine, good for cheese, good for an interesting quick lunch (though you’ll pay for the quality).
Maybe most importantly, fantastic catering services (as Kahn’s Catering). The planning staff is thorough and professional. They really take care of business on the day of your event and the food will look and taste spectacular. We used Vine and Table to cater our wedding and though they were our highest bid, the extra staffing and quality of food & service made our day run smoothly. They have plenty of delicious options to choose from for whatever theme you’re looking for. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had a great experience here. Although, there was not a lot of help offered in the wine side, our service was incredible on the deli/​market side. The cheese man was very knowledgeable and made great suggestion.

I’ve been coming here for years, but am only just reviewing it. The selection for spirits, beer, and wine are absolutely great. I’ve worked my way through quite a bit of their mid-​range Scotches, and Denis, my go-​to guy for all things spirituous is second to none. Their Islay malts are numerous and good, since many are available for tasting at their tasting bar. Denis knows the industry and the products and is happy to share ideas, knowledge and honest opinions about whatever dram we are discussing.
They lose a star because they won’t sell Capriole Farms cheese. Some sort of utterly foolish disagreement about limited availability during peak season made the owner not sell Indiana’s best cheese in their otherwise prodigiously stocked cheese cases. Whole Foods makes it work, so clearly just some lame grudge that inconveniences me, the consumer.
The store is split up into the market/​deli half and the beer, wine, and liquor half. I’ve had great experiences on the right side of the store, where the staff have special ordered items for me, and even held a bottle of Scotch for me due to my limited college student budget. They have a huge walk-​in fridge for their beer, and they carry a great selection of Indiana beer, as well as other domestic and international craft and micro-​brews. Their stuff is all top-​notch, so expect that reflected in their prices, but I know that this is the cheapest place for Riedel glassware anywhere around.

I’m a foodie. Love Vine and Table for cheeses and their home-​made dips (try Chili con Queso-it’s addictive!) Also, great selection of wines, spirits and in a much more upscale environment than most liquor stores. Though they have a great lunch menu, they have made to order sushi with a real sushi chef (Mr. Kang) that is among the best in the city!
