An outstanding automotive shop. I walked (drove) in without an appointment and was serviced immediately for a faulty wiring harness on an aftermarket tail light for my Jeep. Suzanne is as friendly a receptionist/​front office person as it gets and Steve had the problem fixed in about 30 minutes, while I waited. All-​Tech has earned my future automotive business. It’s too bad every vendor experience is not this good.

Absolutely great service. I highly recommend them. I failed a smog test at Smog Tech Pros located at 2411 Howe Ave (AVOID THEM). I failed because of my fuel evap test. When I took my vehicle here to All Tech Automotive, I took it to Steve for an evap test. The test is $ 98 and then you get a 10% discount if you have AAA.
He ran the test and it passed and told me I should have passed when I got it slogged. The reason it failed was due to the smog technician’s error. He did not clamp the pliers correctly on my fuel canister. Steve was kind enough to only charge me $ 39 instead of the $ 98.
He was fast, friendly and knows what he’s doing! I’m pissed that it cost me $ 39 (should have been $ 100) out my own pocket due to the smog technician’s error at Smog Tech «Pros» here on Howe. It’s a waste of my time and money because of them and o am here now hoping they will discount my already paid fee of $ 60 for the smog check. We shall see how this goes.
All in all, go see Steve at All Tech Automotive for your car needs! It’s hard to find good honest people to work on your vehicle. Thanks again Steve and All Tech!

My car was starting to have problems accelerating up hills, and I had an engine check light come on. They were able to keep my engine check light off, and improve the performance of my engine. Thanks

Yes, Virginia, there are still honest, capable auto repair places around and this is one of the best. We have had many happy encounters here over the past years with domestic and foreign cars and we are always impressed and amazed at the quality of work here. Super friendly folks who really care about their customers. The prices are fair and reasonable. The only down side is that they are closed on Mondays.

Honest people. I took my 12-​year-​old Lexus in with its «Check Engine» light on. Their $ 99 diagnostic revealed three problems… «Evap system fault,» «Incorrect purge flow» and «Evap vent circuit fault.» Oh, shit! Sphincter tightening time, but instead of a $ 500 kick in the teeth, mechanic Steve came in and told me that he had «traced the problem to a disconnected evap hose from the purge valve to the intake, and reinstalled the hose with a clamp.» No charge. Are you kidding me? I love these folks.

Amazing!!! We have been bringing our cars here for about 5 years and they are consistently thorough, professional, and COMPLETELY trustworthy! We actually moved from Carmichael to Folsom a few years ago but still bring our cars to All Tech. We have had major repairs and routine maintenance and never worry about any work they do because they do such a good job every time and are very knowledgeable. The prices are always very reasonable too. Highly recommend!

I am so impressed with the service I received there recently. Had to have my son’s very old clunker towed there when it wouldn’t start, hadn’t ever been there before. They diagnosed the starter was bad and quoted me an amount to repair. When they put the new starter in, it still wouldn’t work. Next day they told me a sensor was broken and they were certain the mechanic had broken it while putting in the starter. They replaced and repaired the sensor at no charge and the car worked. Honesty and integrity to the max, I would never have batted an eyelid if they had told me the sensor was broken and I had to pay, the car is so old anything could have been wrong, and I wouldn’t have known. They could easily have charged me for that additional part and the labor incurred, but they didn’t. You don’t find that everyday and I will take all my future business to them. Highly recommended.

They are always friendly and it makes me feel better that they are AAA certified. As a woman who knows very little about cars, I’ve been taking advantage of more than a few times, including a place causing damage to my vehicle and then saying its my fault. So far All-​Tech has listened to me and my family and been nothing but honest.

It’s always a nice and pleasant atmosphere. They are always so helpful, no car BS — they listen to you. Whenever I go to my home town I drive so that I can take my car in there to get maintained.

I’m a little surprised that no one has written a review of All-​Tech, as it’s the *only* AAA-​certified auto repair business in the area. That’s saying something, as there are lots of repair shops around here.
AAA-​certification means their practices and policies have been carefully scrutinized by AAA. They also offer a 10% discount on labor costs if you’re a AAA member.
Anyway, my Mazda was acting oddly. The engine sounded like it was struggling — and would conk out at times when I was idling. I called All-​Tech and spoke a very polite, professional receptionist (office manager?) who provided me an appointment time that day — but said I could bring it in earlier if I wanted, which I did.
When I arrived, she carefully wrote out the issues I described and gave me an estimate as to the cost. She called about 90 minutes later and described the problem, as reported by the mechanic, as well as what needed to be done, and what it would cost.
Turned out I needed a tube replaced, but it wasn’t in stock. But they were able to have it all done the next afternoon, as promised, and there were no hidden or extra costs.
Also to their credit: I only had an expired AAA card on me (even though my membership is current), and they took me at my word that I was still a member.
Overall, big thumbs up here. It’s my new destination for car repair.
