Well… I can’t really rate this guy/​company based on a service provided because I called to get an estimate on some tree work and he never showed up. I found his information on Craigslist which usually doesn’t steer me wrong. He sounded pretty sleepy when he asked if I was going to be home for a bit but I was still expecting him to show up at some point. I called at 9am and against my better judgement called back a few hours later after hearing nothing from him. The second time I called, no one answered. Silly me for wasting my time.

John did a great job for us, Huge tree, all through power lines, showed up early with a crew ready
Best price around, I highly recommend John. He provided excellent service.

Thanks John and your crew! We had a big job to be done 4 large trees and clean up of an over grown side yard. He was reasonably priced and did everything and more than what he quoted me.

We found John on this site, actually, and we’re so glad we did! We had two trees in our back yard that needed to be trimmed. He returned my call quickly and was at my house the next day. His bid was the lowest I received from anyone and he and his team did a wonderful job on the trees and the clean up afterward. We are very happy customers!

I called John for an estimate to trim my oak tree. John was on time, professional and it was apparent that he was very experienced.
We set an early morning time to to the work — they came, did a great job trimming the tree and cleaning up. John also advised me that the roots would also need trimming and he proceeded so that no further concrete damage would occur from the roots.
I highly recommend John. He provided excellent service.

We have used John to cut trees several times on our 3 acre property. He is always fair with pricing and does what he says he will do. I am about to call him again to remove another tree that is dead. Would recommend him highly!

Lowest bid from 5 tree removal firms and included complete scope to cut down tree and grind stump and roots. Made sure surrounding cars were moved and protected my windows from flying rocks. Would definitely use again.

We had 3 Liquid-​amber trees in our front yard that were not maintained by the previous owners. I called John for an estimate, and he was prompt in getting back to us. He showed up with a copy of his business license and his insurance policy, along with a very reasonable estimate. Based upon his reviews on Unilocal (plus proof of license & insurance), we hired him. On the agreed upon date, John & crew showed up 30 minutes early, cut down & removed 3 trees and ground the stump on the largest tree.
Our problem now is that we need to call another company to get bids to remove the above-​ground roots left from the largest tree & stump (including one that was extending 12 ft. across the yard) We now have several dozen new trees sprouting up from the stump and large roots that were not removed at the time of John’s service.

I had two bids for removing a couple of 30′ trees and a total of five stumps ground. I found John on Craigslist and three hours later he was at my house with the bid. He came in at half the price of the other guy. The other guy said it would take him two days to finish everything and John and his crew were in and out within 4 hours. He showed up at 7:30am with his crew, wood chipper and stump grinder. By 8:15 he already had two stumps gone and not much left of the biggest tree. I have already referred him to friends and they are using him too.

A few weeks ago the signal for my satellite dish went out, and I was told that some of the tree limbs hanging in my back yard were blocking the signal. I would have cut the limbs myself, but I didn’t have a tall ladder and a good saw. I had a few guys come out with estimates, but they didn’t want to focus on the removal of just a few limbs — so they proceded to quote me for the full trimming service which would have cost me several hundred dollars.
I found John’s ad and decided to give him a call, thinking he’d be like the others. Even though his office wasn’t nearby, he said he coud pop on by shortly since he happened to have another job in the area. He was a very nice man, yet to-​the-​point. He said his guys could easily cut down the limbs and he didn’t charge me an arm-​and-​a-​leg for the removal. The very next day his guys were out at my house and removed the limbs carefully, and also cut up the pieces into a nice manageable pile for easy pick-​up.
I would definately call on these guys again when I need actual trimming done, thanks to their speed and courteousness. (Oh, and the signal on my dish went back to normal immediately after the limbs were taken down!)

Looking for a guy to come out to Woodland to grind some black walnut stumps. John was quick in returning my call and providing an estimate. He brought the grinder and knock out six stumps that were over 80 years old trees in no time. I would highly recommend him for your tree needs He told me he does it all, so I hope he comes back out for some trimming.
