Joel is a really nice guy. But I can only give him almost 4 stars. I really didn’t want to ruin his 5 star rating but I wish other reviewers were more critical of his work. My car is not a challenging case so he didn’t have to pull out all the stops to get it spotless. But it wasn’t spotless. There were steaks on the glass windows and sunroof inside and out as well as on the side mirrors. These flaws are what I see when I am driving looking out the windows. The dash was gleaming but also speckled with lint. The flaws are small but can be easily avoided. On the other hand, his price is reasonable compared to other places.

Awesome job! Joel is amazing. The location sucks and looks a little sketchy pulling up but he was so professional and for 135 $ for an interior and exterior clean it was outstanding!

I don’t know where I should start. Hands down, the best place I have ever taken my cars to get detailed. My first vehicle I took in was my Toyota Camry that I had owned for a few years. I left a message and Joel got back to me very quickly and we set up a time to have the car taken care of. When I picked up the car, WOW, it looked brand new, no joke, even the guy I ended up selling it to was confused on how it still looked like it belonged on the lot. After that fantastic experience, I did the same with my wife’s Honda Civic. It was white exterior with light tan cloth seats which had coffee stains, make up and who know what else on the seats and headliner. Guess what, picked it up, LOOKED BRAND NEW AGAIN. That was what truly amazed me. Since then, I have purchased a black 5 series BMW and the only person I will trust to clean this vehicle is Joel. Just picked it up an hour ago and it is sparkling! Even two people at the gas station asked how it looks so perfect! All that aside, the owner is such a great person, very friendly and how you wish business owners and humans would be this day and age. If you are looking to make your car feel amazing again, it doesn’t hurt to spend the money on a detail or one of his other services offered every once in a while. It is worth every penny.

Bought an interior detail as a present for my husband. Absolutely amazing job! Car looks brand new and my husband, who is very nit picky, had nothing but positive things to say about this detail. No nook or cranny untouched. Loved the service here! Highly recommend.

Joel is a gem in Carmichael. I was so impressed with his work ethic and his desire to please his customers. Joel recently detailed one of my family’s cars and I was so happy with his work that I had him detail another. He cleaned every spot to perfection. And he is super pleasant to talk with. I will not hesitate to return to him when I have another vehicle that needs attention. You will not be sorry if you choose Joel — He really is the best!

I drive a lot for work and the inside of my car was a disaster. I thought there was no way some of the stains on my seats, for example, would totally come out. But, somehow, he did it. I was beyond shocked. I’d definitely come here again if I (hopefully don’t but probably will) get my interior dirty again.

What can I say? Joel did a wonderful job on my car and he exceeded my expectations! My car looks beautiful and I’m so happy with it inside and out! I will be recommending him to everyone.

Joel is the best by far! I had a gift certificate for a detail job that was given to me years ago and he still honored it and did the most amazing job, my car looked brand new! He takes great pride in what he does and will always work around your schedule!

Joel was amazing! When I first bought my truck it needed to be detailed inside. He did a great job. The outside was really clean when I brought it to him so I told him to skip it. My family and I were just about to go on a huge road trip around the country and he told me to come in after the trip and he would wash it for free! Super grateful, it really needed it! He even vacuumed it again free of charge.

Joel is probably the nicest guy you will ever meet and he clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. He will give it his all to clean your car from top to bottom and will pamper it. I’ve brought 3 cars now to him and he does a great job on all of them.

Joel did an outstanding job in making my 19-​year old Honda Accord look fabulous! There were no weaknesses — he cleaned everything. The dashboard, seats, carpets, doorways and entire interior look terrific. The tires, wheels, and entire exterior look excellent as well. The price was approximately $ 175. I consider that very inexpensive compared to the alternative of looking for a newer car, even a used one. Let me make two suggestions. If you have any areas on your car that you’d like him to give special attention to, by all means mention that to him up front. (He will probably ask you anyway.) The second suggestion is that if you want him to do anything special for your engine, ask him about that beforehand, too. I didn’t because my engine was not particularly dirty and I am not so concerned with its appearance anyway. I wouldn’t be surprised, though, if he can make that shine as well. As reviewer Richard J. pointed out, Joel’s shop is behind an Orange Freeze store on Walnut. It’s not difficult to get to, it’s just hard to notice it from the street.
My bottom line: give yourself the inexpensive gift of a great-​looking car by visiting Joel!

JR was one of the most professional detail places I’ve ever been too. Their attention to detail was second to none. Their was not a part of my van that was over looked. If I could give them a six star rating, I would. I can’t recommend them any higher!

I have been taking my Infiniti to Joel since 2006. He does an unbelievable job. He listens carefully to anything special I’d like him to take care of and then turns out a fabulous product. I always feel as if I’m stepping into a brand new car when i pick mine up. Even though I’ve since moved relatively far away from his shop, I still go. It’s worth the inconvenience.

I’ve been going to JR for my auto detailing for over a decade! He and his crew do an excellent, complete and thorough job of making a car glitter like new! JR is personable, easy to get along with, understands time restraints and works around them? He’ll give you a ride after dropping your car and pick you up promptly when the job is done! Extremely reasonable prices as well! Cannot recommend him high enough! AWESOME!

Great place. I would highly recommend it to anybody. At $ 175 per vehicle for exterior and interior it’s a no brainer. If you live within 10 miles of his shop he will pick up and drop off his vehicle. Great service and quality work.

Joel is the BEST! best customer service I have a 2010 Honda pilot and he makes my car looked like new! I have been going to Joel about two years now and I fall I love with my car even more when he is done I highly recommend him!

Joel is the best! Had my 2005 Honda CRV detailed, (³⁄₂₀₁₄) and honestly I feel like it’s a new car! Joel worked with me on the price and still did an amazing job! My car is so shiny, and the tough stuff like dog hair in the carpet was compleatly gone! I have a two year old and he got all the stains out of the back seat. No detail was missed! Very happy with his service and I am NOT easy to ease! I will have to do this every few months to keep my car looking new! Thanks JR detail!

J R was recommended to me by a friend of mine. He has had several of his cars detailed by Joel and spoke very highly of him. So I took my Lexus to Joel for a full detail. Wow! I was very impressed with the job he did. His attention to detail is outstanding and the car came out looking brand new. The interior and exterior looked absolutely wonderful. The shop is located right behind The Original Hagen Orange Freeze on Walnut and would be easy to miss if you didn’t know it was there. It is a small operation, basically a 2 man shop, but they really put their heart into their work and it shows. Personal attention and focus on quality is the best way to describe my experience here; highly recommend.
