We are a STAR Certified smog check station. We are Ford certified repair specialists and ASE certified. We provide tune-​ups, routine maintenance and repair, electrical service and repair, a/​c service and repair, brake service and repair, smog check, smog repair, oil changes, safety check and check engine light diagnosis and repair. We can test any system or circuit on your vehicle. If you have failed a smog inspection test, we can test and diagnose your vehicle to help you pass your smog inspection test. Here at Master Tech Smog & Repair we provide the quality and expertise you’d expect from a major auto dealership. With 22 years Ford dealership experience and a degree in automotive repair, we can test and perform the diagnostics and repairs to keep your car running great. We offer honest smog test and repair service at a reasonable price. Our work is our bond, so we are always going above and beyond the typical call of duty to provide you great support and quality service.

Established in 2014.

We have been performing smog tests and smog related repairs for over 22 years for Ford dealerships and decided to open our own smog test and auto repair shop that could specialize in Ford auto repair. We found this location that has been a smog test station previously and decided to open shop. We love cars and care about yours. I am highly skilled and have 22 years of Ford dealership experience performing smog tests and smog related repairs with Ford Motor Company. I am a certified Senior Master Technician and have a degree in automotive repair and an advanced smog and repair license. I have always enjoyed smog and auto repair work and helping customers with keeping their cars running great. I began working on cars at 15 and attended Ford Motor Companies ASSET program at CRC where I received my degree. If you fail a smog test I will gladly walk you through the process of repair and honestly perform those repairs so that you feel comfortable with the result. My goal with your auto repair or smog is for you to be a customer that always returns to us for your smog or auto repair needs, especially if you own a Ford vehicle. If I could give more than 5 stars I would to this place. My car needed to a SMOG in order for me to renew my registration and I’ve had a check engine light on for 2 years. So I take it to my mechanic shop this morning and get it fixed and call here to set up an appoint. They gave me an appointment right away for an hour later and once I explained my situation that I just had gotten my car fixed they told me to drive it for 20 – 30 miles (specifically for my car) in order for it to be ready. I showed up 20 minutes earlier but they were more than happy to help and get me going. Unfortunately the car before me was taking longer than expected to finish but the mechanic himself came in and explained to me exactly what was going on and they apologized for the delay. I didn’t mind the extra and without me asking they told me they will give me a discount for waiting so long! That’s is how you win a customer and their business and they have definitely earned mine! I highly recommend you take your car to them and on top of that my car passed! Thanks again for the excellent customer service!

The manager and her dog are super sweet! My SMOG check was done within twenty minutes at a fair price. I was able to sit and relax in their comfortable chairs whilst watching home improvement shows on their television. There was also water and assorted Kurieg coffees available to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this shop!

I won’t be going anywhere else now that I found this place. Unilocal reviews were what brought me here and I’m glad. The owner and her yorkie are so sweet! The prices were super reasonable. I used the Unilocal smog.coupon.and u also. added an oil change. $ 70 total and 40 min was awesome. I’ll be back for sure. The customer service and prices are amazing. It’s worth the drive! I’ve driven by this place hundreds of times ever since I was a kid and today I finally went inside for my smog check. I called around around 11am on a Wednesday and was told I could come by at any time which was great and also verified that I can use the Unilocal coupon! I immediately headed over there and there was one person ahead of me and their smog check was finished a couple minutes after I arrived. They took my car in and finished in under 20 minutes which was awesome! In the waiting room there’s a TV, Keurig with some K-​cups, magazines, water bottles, water dispenser, and some comfy seats! Usually places have plastic chairs but they stepped it up and have actual comfortable seats! I passed with flying colors and they even sent the email to the DMV to save me some time and there was a beautiful C6 Corvette outside which belongs to one of the employees that worked there. Overall they’re extremely nice and fast, I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a smog check.

I picked this place from the dmv website. They are star certified which dmv required for my smog. I am so happy I went here! Not only was it very fast, I was able to sit in the cozy office with very comfortable seating and enjoy a beautiful cup of coffee with the choice of many flavored keurig cups. The staff was extremely nice and would rate the customer service, quickness, and overall experience a 5 star easily.

This place is awesome! I happened into Master Tech when my regular place was closed. They were cheaper and more friendly. I have gone back to them for other repairs now. He tracked down an electrical issue and told me what needed to be done. I didn’t think the part he said I needed would correct the problem. It did! And he did it in lass time then the book said what was needed. So the repair was cheaper! That’s a plus! I will continue to go to them! Great people!

Went in for a smog check today. I had a coupon purchase thingy from Living Social. I was literally in and out within 15 minutes. My butt didn’t even have time to warm the chair haha. Its very clean, there is a TV, some fancy coffee and comfy chairs. I wasn’t there long enough to make any coffee. The couple that runs/​owns? this shop are extremely nice. They have the cutest puppy too. I will definitely be returning here when I need to smog my car again and will recommend to friends.

Great staff, pleasant waiting area, conveniently located next to where I get my car worked on and it took a total of 30 minutes from the time I pulled up to the time left, with no appointment. If you need to drop in for a smog check this is the place to go.

DMV sent me a vehicle registration renewal a while back and I put it aside, waiting for the last minute. I eventually went online and started to complete the renewal and noticed in big black block letters that a smog check was necessary to renew the vehicle. I continued with the registration and opted to submit my smog check results after paying the fees. At the same time I was completing the registration, a LivingSocial message came through indicating it had a deal for a smog check at Master Tech Smog & Repair. (It must have been the Google gods that made that happen.)
I’m often feel like auto repair and maintenance shops try to take advantage of me because I’m gay. They don’t realize I know more about vehicles than they assume. Additionally, I’m not a big fan of LivingSocial or Groupon because of two experiences where the business shut down operations before I was able to redeem the voucher. Both LivingSocial and Groupon happily refunded my money but I wanted the item/​service! Anyway, I did some quick checking on Master Tech and saw some great reviews on Unilocal and decided to go for it.
I wasn’t sorry I did.
MasterTech Smog & Repair is fast, friendly, and professional. The waiting area is immaculate. and very comfortable, albeit I was only there 15 minutes. The place is easy to find and conveniently located. I will consider Master Tech for future smog checks and other repairs and highly recommend Master Tech Smog & Repair.
