Planet of the Vapes

Great prices and selection of flavors! This morning the mouth piece on my rda for my mod broke. I dropped it and it literally shattered. Without that piece I can not smoke my vape at all, trust me I tried and almost burnt myself.
So I went to my usual, reputable smoke shop to buy a new one and they don’t even sell them. I would’ve had to buy a new rda which run from thirty to fifty dollars for the cheap ones.
I remembered coming to Planet of the Vapes once with my boyfriend to try flavors and thought I’d try them out for hardware today. The lady was really sweet and helped me find an even better mouth piece than I had. It’s made out of a really neat «heat resistant» plastic.
Originally she said it was ten dollars, which I was stoked on, but when she rang me up it was only $ 8.99! Yay

I prefer to shop local rather than on the internet even though the prices are higher and I expect good customer service when I do shop locally. POV has lost a good customer over a $ 12 battery. Having spent over $ 300 there in a short amount of time anyone would expect them to replace a $ 12 rechargeable battery they sell that went bad after 4 charges. The excuses they gave were varied and unbelievable, bottom line they sell defective batteries and do not stand behind their products. One reason they gave for a battery going bad so quickly was letting it run out of power before charging it. What? I use rechargeable batteries all the time for my business and that has never been a problem. When I came to Unilocal to explain my situation I saw this from another post. Obviously POV on Fair Oaks did not get the memo.

Thank you for your review. I have spoken with my staff in regard to the issue you are experiencing with your Mini Super Tank. I can understand how frustrating it can be when a device does not perform the way you’d like.

Alright everyone! I would have gave this place 5 star. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because they didn’t help us out at all. We have been going to Planet of the Vapes for a very long time and spend $ 100 every time we go. Recently I purchased a brand new tank for my Vape. Came out to about 50 bucks. Had to buy a new tank because my rubber ring expanded from leaving it in the car during summer. (So don’t do what I did leaving it in the car). We bought the new tank worked great at the store and left home. The next day the new tank was literally gushing out liquid. Went back the next day and one of the associates noticed the coil was bad. She replaced it free of charge and I was very thankful for that. Came home and again was gushing out liquid. Was so upset because spend that money and my vape was not working at all. Went back to tell them about it and didn’t do ONE thing to help me with my defected tank. Having a business like this you have to understand that some merchandise is defective from the manufacture. I wasn’t looking for a free tank, just an understanding that some things are just defected. I would at least tell your guest that you can give them a different brand with a discount. Also when we first purchased the new tank I thought to myself maybe the associate that putting my tank together might have messed up due to she was new and being trained. It wasn’t her I just got a defective tank. So just watch out. I attached a photo of the tank that is defective.

Went there yesterday evening to pick up a coil for my istick. Asked the Asian guy who I think is the manager if he had a small screw for the bottom of my istick, because it was only being held together by 1 small screw. This guy is always saying no to any repairs you have with there product. It is not the first time I have bought product there to where it only last for a week and took it back and again did you by the warranty or no I can’t help you. All their products are a week away from being broken as soon as you buy it and they should at least try to fix it. They have no problem taking your money though. You do mods everyday so why wouldn’t you have something as little a small screw in your stock of parts. I guess you have to be a regular or a good friend who sits in the lobby and smokes all day to get that privilege for him.(Asian dude with the cap). I work in south sac so I’m close to the 65^th store and I have no problem with them fixing their product each time I go there. The girls who greet you are nice and professional, but the Asian guy just sits back in the back looking cold and unapproachable. So stop having no problems taking the money for busted up products and start saying yes to little things that won’t kill you like customer service. I’m not asking for you to replace the product just for a small screw.

Came in to buy a gift for someone. Cody was great! I had no clue what I needed and she was super helpful and patient. :)

Planet of the Vapes is as good as it gets in Sacramento, hands down. Glory and Cat are awesome, they helped me pick out some new toys today and I couldn’t be happier. Planet of the Vapes is the ONLY cape store in Sac, check them out.

what a way to steal me from my other vape shops… the lady’s were friendly, verry cute and polite. i can tell they are genuine vape enthusiasts.

Amber helped me and was very knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and even suggested different options which helped since I am new to this. She also informed me of the free class that is held on Sundays. The store was busy and she continued to help me while still helping other people. I highly recommend Amber for anyone that is looking to get started!

First off I’d like to say that I just moved here to Sacramento from Hawaii in December and even in Hawaii I had already heard about Planet of the Vapes. So of course I was dying to try the shop out when I got here.
The first time I went in Valerie helped me, I didn’t even buy anything. I wasn’t intimidated because I’m new to vaping nor did I feel pressured to buy anything. My first visit was mostly for information and to check out prices.
I ended up getting an Istick with an AeroTank2 and I absolutely love it. My favorite juices that I use are Seaman, Blue Lightning and N.W.A. and my favorite by far is Red Hots.
I no longer use dip or any tobacco products at all. So thank you POTV for helping me with that.
Great atmosphere, great people, better service and excellent prices. I highly recommend the POTV chain to anyone and everyone out there.

I would like to start off by saying I am not a «vapor». My brother is a big vapor and loves it, and he always talks about his mods. (I have no clue what mods are or what all the lingo is).
Seeing as how Christmas is a few days away, I came to planet of vapes to see if I could get something for my brother. I told the girl at the counter what I’ve heard that I likes (which I guess are clones?) and she said they don’t carry clones there. I didn’t fully understand what she meant, so I had to ask and she let me know the (knock-​offs). She showed me a few mods and they were quality looking pieces of art.
As I was holding one and looking at it I let her know I don’t have much money and will only have about $ 75 to spend and I hope i can get something he likes.
(This is were my experience wasn’t so uplifting for a good review)
She immediately chuckled and said «good luck… what you are holding is $ 220» and then continued to try and up-​sale the item to me to tell me how great it was. I didn’t understand a word she was saying and I JUST explained to her I don’t have much money…
I started to ask about an RDA (again still new lingo to me) and she showed me a few cool ones, but I had no idea what she was talking about. It didn’t feel like she was genuine in trying to help me find a product for my brother that would be a great Christmas present at all. I left immediately after and don’t plan on a soon return.
Over all, the store looks great, they do have some great quality products I can’t deny that (never knew this stuff was so expensive)
But, I was very disappointed in the service. She made me feel like some broke stupid person that was clearly in the wrong place.

So I’m kind of surprised about all of these ⁵⁄₅ reviews… I think it is because of what you get if you leave one, and most people leave the review in-​store. It’s a unique place… a different approach to your average smoke shop, and have a wide variety of products and flavors.
However the main thing that matters to me is the quality and price of whatever I am buying. We bought a glass globe and battery here. The prices are a little more expensive than gifts and smokes down the street. We expected the battery we bought to be of better quality but we were wrong. No wonder they try and push a warranty on you when buying the battery because it won’t last long. We’ve had it for not even two months and it is already dying quickly. Either way I refuse to pay what they were asking for the warranty because it was too much. If you are going to sell cheap product, at least provide a cheaper warranty. The other night while trying to pull our glass globe off of the battery, it broke. Maybe because it was sticky after a while but still, it broke way too easily. No one likes wasting their money and I ESPECIALLY HATE CHEAP PRODUCT!!!
Staff was on the friendlier side though. Except the girl with the dreads. She looked like she wanted to kill me or something.

Great group of folks here… Cody was a lot of help and I really enjoyed sampling all the favors…
Look forward to my next trip to the area.

Today I visited Planet of the vapes. I wasn’t even in the store for one minute before Marlin asked if she could help me. I was looking for a laynard and some carto tanks, but she also gave me some 411 on a new battery I’m in need of. She schooled me about double fisting with two tanks to mix flavors (why have I never thought of that!) even showed me a nice Hawaiian punch mix with my all day vape unicorn blood and a Japanese soda.
I’m really picky with my flavors, but they have like 150 or something to choose from. I will definitely be making a return trip. I will be comming back in for that battery I had my eye on and probably getting the starter kit since its such a great deal. I only need another battery, but Marlin informed me of all I could get with the kit.

My husband and I went in this evening, first timers totally new to this. He had ordered some stuff online from a recommendation from a friend, but needless to say it hasnt all arrived. So off to Planet of the Vapes we went!
Once we got there the staff was super friendly and patiently answered all our noob questions. Needless we just went in for some juice and a tank… walked out with a whole unit (for myself!) a couple of tanks, quite a few flavors and very happy customers. They put my unit together and made sure it was all working before we left. And of course, let us sample as many flavors as we wanted. Which was nice because at this point, we have no idea what we like!
All the staff was more than helpful answered all our questions, really good place nice selection all around great place. We will be back again!

Real talk. Alan and Margaret should win best customer support award. They were very patient with me and answered all my questions. Plus it helps when Alan is from the 619! Daaygo baby!
I went in to swoop an MVP and an Ego Twist for my brother. Amazing selection to customize your vape to your liking. I’ve been to a few vape spots and by few I mean a lot lol and I think I found my fave spot in planet of the vapes. Vape on yoooooo.
