It’s what you make of it.
The Atrium has people working there that seem to care about the residents. You can see the residents hanging around and at first glance they even seem happy. After visiting around 15 times though I’m not so sure anymore. They seem to do a lot of complaining but maybe that’s more their age than the surroundings. Also the food has really gone downhill in the last year. Again, it’s ok but a year ago it was actually pretty good. The apartments themselves are pretty nice. Most have views of ponds with ducks swimming around in them. There is plenty of parking for the residents who still drive. The library is filled with both books and movies you can rent. There is a small gym and hair salon. There are a couple birds at the facility I like talking to but don’t look to close at them as they look sickly too. All in all the place is nice but could be great with a new cook and maybe someone to just walk around trying to cheer people up.
