The UPS Store

I was simply trying to return a package amazon sent me in error. The gentleman working there seemed so determined to get to spend extra money, it was unbelievable. Even when I attempted to call amazon not to complain but to try and find a reasonable solution he got really rude and irate with me. I will never return to this location and I am more than happy driving over to the UPS on Howe ave where the people there seem to be polite and care for their customers.

This is the worst ups store I’ve ever been too. The owner is impatient and rude and I would only come here if you are desperate.

I never had a bad experience with these people until today. This Russian guy completely had no customer service towards me.

As part of my cross-​country move, I needed to ship a handful of boxes to the East Coast. Not knowing much about most cost-​effective sizes and methods, I just packed up my bedding and other items for shipment in the boxes I had at home. Owner Morey Dibaj was most helpful in reducing my costs by suggesting we cut down the boxes I brought in to a smaller size. He had a special tool that perforated the box to allow for it to be folded in a new place, transforming the dimensions. The cost of the reduced boxes was less than half what it would have been if we had left everything as it was when I brought it in! I really appreciated Morey’s help in keeping my costs as low as possible, and the great customer service he provided! He went above and beyond!

GREEDY LIARS! They refuse to take any responsibility for my package that was damaged! I live in IL and shipped it from here back to my home. Not only was it damaged, it had to be returned to CA!!! per UPS rules. I then had to pay to ship it again, thru a different shipper. I requested my shipping fee refunded as well as my $ 100 insurance and NOTHING!
The owner is the one that accepted the package! And now he is playing dumb just so he doesn’t have to give me the $$ owed? Ridiculous! I know this is not the way big UPS does business. This is HORRIBLE! UPS Store Corporate has not been helpful either! Ridiculous!

I am not one do do things like this but I am very upset at the way I was treated. I will state exactly how it happened. I brought a package in to have shipped with my account number. They statedI must go to the hub that they do not accept UPS accounts. I ask if there was any other way and they said I must have a prepaid label. I have my friend go online and pay for a label and email it to their account. I go back in and label is printed. I was thankful they were helping. And then it all started. The owner talked to me in a stern rude voice stating the label had his business address as the return address. He yells at me that it cannot be used like that. I ask, «well sir it is being sent from this address». He yells no no no it cannot be used. So I say okay let’s white it out and put my address. He yells no no no. It can’t be in the system. I can go on and on but I told him that he was being very rude and he literal just gave me a dirty look. I go there quite often and that is the last time. He was rude, unprofessional, and I feel very discriminative. He made me cry. The sweet girl that works there looked as though she was in shock also. I ended up going to the post office which will always be my choice from now on. Rude owner and I advise not to go here.

The owner, Sash, made a special trip into the store on his day off to fingerprint my son for a job application. I’ve been a regular for a long time, and have always found the service way above average, but the team just blew me away with this one. When I need to visit another UPS Store for convenience, the experience just never measures up. David C. is exactly right that Maury and Sash know most of the regulars and greet them by name, and when they hire additional staff for the holiday rush, they make sure to train people well. Great advice, over-​the-​top helpfulness. I consider these guys a valuable part of my neighborhood.

Who seemed to be the owner helped me today with a total attitude. I will take my Chegg return books somewhere else that doesn’t charge $ 2.15 to print the label for me. So rude! It’s not about the money but the way the service clerk approached it. Buh bye

I came here to deposit checks into my USAA bank account after calling and speaking with a very pleasant man on the phone to make sure they had this service. It was my first time not mailing a check into my bank– way easier! The man and woman who worked at this UPS Store were really kind and fun to talk to! I just moved to Sacramento but it seems like people are cool here and way more easy going. This location was easy to get to and the parking lot was large enough with plenty of spots. I’ll be back when I need to send a package. :) Thanks! It’s a nice place to stop before heading to Whole Foods.

I’m not sure why people are giving this store a bad review because UPS screwed up. It’s not these guys. I do a lot of shipping, and it’s always prepaid and labeled and these guys are quick to take my package and give me a receipt. Always very friendly. They will accept usps mail too but no receipt.

I only use the notary service here when I must. The notary has been, on each of the last three visits, very rude. Today he accused me of taking one of the forms he had signed, because neither of us could find it. I demanded he play back his surveillance video, and he refused. I pointed out he has bad reviews on Unilocal (where did they go??) and his bad attitude and in my case unwarranted accusation were probably the reason why. He backed off, but would not play the tape. I bet later, when he finds the form somewhere, he won’t admit his error. In any case, I wish someone else would recommend a good notary who is at the shop a lot (many places notaries seem to be in/​out all day). I would switch if I had a better option! Boo on the UPS store.

When it comes to shipping packages, I am unsure if I should go to UPS or the Post Office. I needed a specific sized box so I went with UPS, as the Post Office is limited on box sizes.
All the customers seemed happy when they walked in and out of the store, and the man who owns the store knew most of the people’s name. When it was my turn to be helped, he instantly suggested box sizes. I was just buying the box, but he asked me where I was going to send my package without me asking. He was able to give me an accurate estimate of how much it would cost and how long it would take to ship off the top of his head. Pretty impressive.
I returned the next day to ship my items, turns out it cost 50% more, but my package weighted 3 times the amount that I thought it was.
Customer service was top notch. A good personality is always a nice touch. Btw, they make copies of keys here if you need to get that done as well.

the customer service here stinks! the owner/​mananger was rude and didn’t offer much except to keep saying that he would not be able to deliver the package. He asked in a rather brusque manner if I had opened, the package and as I was writing on the box that it was refused and to return to sender, I accidentally scratched out the UPS tracking code. As he watched me do it, he then stated «well now I can’t send it for you».
I know the UPS stores a few and far between, but if you don’t want to be insulted then turned away because they can’t deliver a measly box, then it would be better to try some other place. These guys were awful!

This is the best place ever. They are very friendly and their prices are very reasonable for shipping supplies. I was able to get my passport photos here too. A great little local place!

I have gotten pretty good service at this UPS Store, but today was a bit different. I needed to get a document notarized and then have this document shipped as well. First, they had put in the wrong zip code into their system (my document would’ve gone to Oakland instead of its correct destination of Redwood City). The people are very nice here, but when you’re on a tight schedule (lunch break), I needed things to go a bit faster. They finally got all of my information correct and my document notarized, but it took far too long.
