Hi, I’m Kim & Captured by Kim Photography is my dream come true. I started Captured by Kim Photography in the spring of 2011 after returning to school to study photography. I have been a special education teacher since 2000, and photography has always been my passion. I had the opportunity to return to school to study photography, and when I was finished, Captured by Kim Photography was born. I am very fortunate to have wonderful family and friends who have supported me the entire way and helped me pursue my dream.

Kim is a FABULOUS photographer! She did a session for my daughter’s first birthday as well as a family portrait. She was very flexible with scheduling as well as locations. Our session took place at a park near our home and the images were AMAZING. She did a fantastic job capturing beautiful images even though my daughter was less than participatory. I can’t wait to book our next session!

Wonderful experience with Kim! She took her time and made my daughter feel comfortable (she has not always been so for photographers) which allowed her little personality to shine. Kim’s ability to capture both the outer AND inner beauty is a talent unmatched! We will CERTAINLY be using Captured by Kim in the future.

Kim is fab! My kiddo was having an uncooperative and shy day and Kim was able to take terrific pictures, really capturing incredible moments! My family loves the pictures and the laid back approach she took. Extremely, extremely reasonable prices given the high quality of work and incredible results. We are definitely booking our child’s yearly pictures with her! At first I thought we would do a photo shoot in the city (we live there) but Kim gave us alot of suburban options and the photos were spectacular as was the location. I recommend for city parents to go where she suggests since she knows some hidden treasures in the suburbs.

Kim is the ultimate professional. She did a photo session for our daughter and even though our daughter was having «one of those days» you would never know it with the pictures Kim was able to take. She truly has an artistic eye and great demeanor with kids. Captured by Kim was the perfect choice for our daughter’s 3rd year photos. Most if our friends have asked for Kim’s info because they were so impressed with Kim’s work. She is very reasonably priced and Kim gives you the freedom to use your own developer or the company she uses. Overall, Captured by Kim was a great experience!!!
