Miri Mara Ceramics is a production facility with adjacent gallery /​showroom open to the public. Mara designs and produces high end ceramic ware. Originally a fashion designer in Milan, Mara recently turned his talents to ceramic art. His work has been acclaimed by Elle Décor, C Magazine and others.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Born in Rome, Miri started working as a teen in the high fashion house of Balestra before moving to Milan where he worked in the Pret a Porter designing Cadette, Gherardini, Deni-​Cler, Prenatal and others. He came to California and became intrigued by African and South East Asian ceramics. These traditions still inspire his work as well as the modernism of Italian twenties and thirties design.
