This is a handmade product made in our atelier with pure chocolate and we are also creating other variations coconut, pistachio and other fine ingredients.

History

Established in 2015.

Once upon a time, a young Brazilian, during two months and many miles rounds across the US, he tried several fast foods, industrialized foods and some desserts, but he didn’t like them. Suddenly, he realized that there is no kind of his favorite candy and Americans people hadn’t experienced something like that.

At the same moment he called his grandmother, who is 92-​years-​old and has an elephant memory, since she remembered the traditional recipe of this candy.

From that moment the company was born and his biggest dream is that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy this wonder candy called BRIGADEIRO, a delicious handmade candy with lots of love that is produced in an atelier with the finest ingredients from local producers.

A young Brazilian, in love with candies and trips around the world, eventually landed in U.S. to take a sabbatical year improving his English, meeting other cultures and relaxing after his last job as a Lieutenant in the army. During two months and many miles rounds across the country, he tried several fast foods, industrialized foods and some desserts, but he didn’t like them. Suddenly, he realized that there is no kind of his favorite candy and Americans people hadn’t experienced something like that.

Then, he starts to think… WHAT IF? And he had the great idea to bring the candy to the USA, This candy is the national passion in Brazil.
