Carrboro Recreation and Parks Department

I went to a dance show this Sunday. Horrible. Walked out after 5 minutes. In addition, they charged for a 15 month old.

Located in the Century Center downtown Carrboro I’ve been taking my daughter to the Young Gymnast program here and have been very pleased with the instruction and warmth of the instructor. She has gained a lot of confidence and has improved her strength and learned new skills after a few months. It’s been wonderful to be a part of. I like the athletics here because it’s not high stress or necessarily for those who are competitive. Just a nice safe place to try out new activities and gain confidence in those areas.
We haven’t done any other classes but there are so many for young children to older adults. Something for everyone. They have family days too where you can enjoy things like Scottish dance or music etc.
The classes are kept small and the prices are extremely reasonable. Next registration starts early May, so maybe you’ll find something to join.
