History

Established in 2007.

Originally founded in 2004, in New York City, by West Virginia native, Matt Oliverio,

MFO Painting & Design, Inc. started as a result of Matt’s work as a scenic painter with Kadan Productions in NYC. Working mainly as a scenic painter for Mercedes Benz Fashion week, as well as other upscale events, Matt soon found that his skill was in demand for residential applications: faux finishing, texturizing, etc. After forming, MFO Painting, the business mainly focused on homeowners and business owners who wanted to update their surroundings. Servicing customers with courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness, MFO began to be referred from one customer to the next.

In 2007 Matt and his wife Tara relocated with their daughter to the NC Triangle in order to be closer to their extended family, already living in Durham, to make North Carolina their home. MFO Painting & Design began to offer the same level of service to customers here in North Carolina!
