My Philosophy of Health and Healing

Moving Into Wholeness is a center for yoga and alternative and complementary health care therapies, including CranioSacral Therapy, Body-Mind Integration and Massage Therapy.

The heart of my work is to help each client embody optimum health and joy. I integrate the best of science and spirit and draw on my years of experience as both a teacher of yoga and as a healing arts therapist to support health and well-being. I use skilled touch, movement and deep stillness as catalysts for healing that engages body, mind, and spirit.

To achieve and maintain health requires balance. All treatments at Moving Into Wholeness stimulate and strengthen our natural capacity for self-healing. I facilitate healthy realignment through gentle processes. These range from yoga sequences that create a sense of peace and well-being to CranioSacral Therapy where specific holds open energy pathways.

Meet the Business Owner

Carol V.

Business Owner

I love my work. I feel fortunate to touch people’s lives in positive ways through yoga classes and therapies I offer at Moving Into Wholeness. This is my center for complementary and alternative therapies that opened in 1993 in Carrboro, NC. I help students and clients access inner sources of health and healing and receive so much from this work that it is self-renewing.

My practice in alternative health care calls me to teach and embody the principles that I believe support optimum health and well-being. I like to say «optimum health» to reflect my conviction that we can improve within existing limitations to thrive and enjoy life. Optimum health is created from an open, authentic flow of life lived with permission to feel what we feel, giving healthy expression to who we are. As we develop our own well-being, we increase our capacity to support well-being in our families and communities.
