City Futsal was founded with the mission to promote the game of futsal for all ages and levels. With two generations of soccer involvement in the DFW area, a training staff with NCAA and US Futsal National Team experience, strong ties with one of the best clubs in Brazil and a burning passion for the game, City Futsal is dedicated to bringing you premier futsal training and competitive opportunities. It is the way we play indoor soccer.

History

Established in 2011.

Organized in the spirit of spontaneous pick-​up soccer, Futsal allows players to expand their game with free play, where the game itself is the teacher. Futsal is the indoor version of association football (soccer) that is officially sanctioned by football’s international governing body, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

Futsal is played between two teams of five players, one of which is the goalkeeper; in addition each team may have a number of substitutes. Unlike some other forms of indoor football, the field is delineated by lines, not nets or boards which the ball may be played off. The ball used tends to be heavier and therefore promotes better ball control and on the ground passing. Furthermore the smaller area of play forces players to improve their skills and reaction time to on the spot decision making.

City Futsal is a family owned company that specializes in the promotion and education of the game of Futsal through training programs and the production of leagues, tournaments, and events.

City Futsal has established a top futsal academy called FDSP (Futsal Developmental Soccer Program), first of it’s kind and considered a leader in the country. Teams formed with players in the academy have won 5 total National Championships in the last 2 years alone. City Futsal’s training programs, leagues and tournaments are highly regarded, with a World class reputation.

Futsal, is a fast growing sport around the globe, and is experiencing explosive growth in the U.S. Futsal’s developmental value is highly regarded and recognized as a powerful training vehicle, within the soccer marketplace.
