Specializing in Driver education for Adults and Teens both in the Classroom and in the car. Drive Smart is your one stop for all your drivers ed needs.

The «Teen Learn to Drive Program» is Texas Education Agency and Department of Public Safety Approved.

* Classes are fun, informative and designed to help teens to become safe drivers. Plus upon completion the student will receive a certificate good for insurance discounts until they turn 21.

* This Program features 32 hours of Classroom and 14 hours of in car training. There are 3 week and 4 week options.

* Drive Smart has Bilingual male and Female instructors with annual FBI background checks.

* FREE DPS Permit and Road Testing is included in this Program.

The «Adult Class» is a State of Texas DPS required 6 hour (one day) course for those ages 18 to 24. Or for anyone 18 + needing a drivers licence

* Students will receive their Certificate the same day.

* English and Espanol Classes

The «Defensive Driving Class» is for those seeking ticket dismissal and insurance discounts. The Class is offered at the lowest price legally allowed by the State. Taught in English and Espanol.

Established in 2014.

New to Carrollton, but not to drivers ed, with over 50+ years of combined experience in Driver Education has led Rodney Crawford Supervisory Teacher-​Full, and Michael Jose Torres, A Driving Instructor Teaching Full, with Texas Education Agency Licensed Driver Education endorsements to become a Texas Department of Public Safety Approved Drivers Ed School.

In order to fulfill their dream of owning and operating a bilingual driving school in Carrollton, Texas, the two owners decided to combine their efforts with an Amazing office staff of male and female bi-​lingual instructors and experienced customer service specialists. Their goal is to have not «just a driving school» but a place students feel relaxed, enjoy learning and parents who feel good knowing that this budget and schedule friendly school will help them to get their children the best education possible.

Business Owner

Rodney Crawford is a Texas Education Agency Licensed Supervisory Instructor-​Full. He has studied driver education at the Graduate level at the University of North Texas and supervised the training of future instructors for many years as well as participated in research studies in the field. He has been the author several driving schools instructional programs and instructor development courses. As a dedicated instructor, he has taught Driver Education in the North Texas area for over 20 years. With his experience combined with his partner Jose Torres, they have brought a unique proprietary teaching style to the Carrollton, Texas area. Drive Smart Driving School located in Carrollton, Texas is designed to be one of the most unique driver education schools in the state.
