The one in Garland is better, but this place is good. I was REALLY craving carne asada, and saw they had a loaded baked potato with carne asada, and I had to get it. Along with a churro. For my craving, this really satisfied my tummy. The baked potato was big, and was LOADED, I just wish the potato was a little bit more buttered. If I’m gonna eat fattening foods, I wanna go all out haha The meat was very delicious too, and it had LOTS of cheese and they gave me a side of sour cream, which I LOVE and put it on their too. It was awesome. And for their churro, the one in Garland puts more sugar on it where this one looked like they might as well took a handful of sugar and threw it at the churro and gave it to me. And there churros have a caramel-like filling in it, but this location only filled the churro half way, no bueno. :( But overall this place is good, and gave me a massive food coma after haha But I say come and try it, it’s good for the price you pay and you have a food baby afterwards :)

This Pollo Regio is close to work. Their drive thru is fast and accurate, even during lunch time. On my most recent visit, I had the flauta plate. It came with rolled tacos filled with chicken, plus a side of rice and beans. The rolled tacos were sitting on a bed of lettuce and shredded cheddar cheese. The portions are enough for two people to share. Since I ordered this to go, they included generous portions of guacamole, sour cream and their famous spicy green sauce. The chicken in the flautas was not dry and the tortilla was crisp without being greasy. For a quick and tasty taco lunch, this is the place!

I came here for the first time with friends, and it’s a fast food taco joint. I ordered the street tacos wirh beef and barbacoa. I was in taco heaven, I loved the beef fajita meat, so I’ll probably stick to that. The barbacoa was decent but not a fav. They have a salsa bar at the front and complimentary chips. I loved the spicy green salsa and can probably put that on everything. Someone ordered the stuffed potato with fajita beef, and it was pretty good. The prices were cheap, and I’m definitely coming back.

I wish I could give this place more stars. I drive past it constantly and you can smell the chicken. I finally decided to try it and was not disappointed. The seasoning is incredible. The chicken is cooked to perfection. Their pico is freshly made. Their sauces are delicious. Even my kids eat it up! Love this place!

Was craving tacos, when here to get pollo & Barbaraca.- the tacos were dry & the tortillas tasted like sticky masa. Not the best place but their fries were good & chicken strips.

Been here more than dozen times. Chicken is good. Tacos are OK at best. They have messed up my order a few times, it wasn’t even busy… Plenty other much better taco joints in the area.

Nasty food. The chicken was dry. The rice smelled spoiled. The beans tasted ok. I dont understand how people like this place. Maybe they are used to eating crap…

The Papa Regio(baked Potato) was great. Was a little difficult to order since the lady at the register spoke no English but we got through it :-)

So I went to a party earlier that day that just happened to have polio reglio catered in. It was from a different location, in Garland on Walnut, but it got me pumped for some mofo tacos. The location is nice, and clean, and they have a salsa bar with all the green salsa a gal could want. Which is amazing by the way. Our food came out piping hot and was pretty darn good. I got beef fajita street tacos. It came with 5 tacos!!! Yum, sautéed onions, raw onions, and cilantro, just the way it’s supposed to be served. The fajita wet was good, unfortunately it wasn’t as flavorful as the tacos I had earlier in the day, still good but not the same. I will go back but probably to the location closer to me on garland.

If you are gonna eat here you better get chicken because as far as tacos al pastor and fajitas they are BAD the meat is red as if it was horse meat(believe me I’ve seen horse meat and it’s disgusting) the service was horrible, the cashier seem bored that we were taking to long to order, everything tasted old, the chips were old, salsas and all the topping bar was dirty. Will not recomend this place at all, if you want good food try el paisano it’s like mins ago from here

I LOVE this place… I haven’t had anything here that I didn’t like. We usually get the half chicken and share it. The green sauce is DELISH! Then end the meal with one of their churros. They are fried cinnamony carmel goodness!

I got a chicken quesadilla to-go from here. This place always smells so good when I pass by so decided to try it out. My first bite I got a long skinny piece of bone! I opened it up and there were 3 more pieces of bone inside. I lost my appetite. I should’ve asked for my money back but I didn’t feel like the hassle, I just know I’ll never go back.

Chicken quesadillas were decent. The quality of the chicken was good and fresh. I didn’t like any of the salsas or dipping sauces because they were all too hot for me. Also, word to the wise that the green stuff that looks like guacamole isn’t actually guacamole – it’s spicy and doesn’t taste anything like it. And the stuff that looks like queso isn’t queso.

The chicken was extremely dry. It was almost like eating a piece of wood. I think that chicken was cooked earlier and had been in the oven for quite some time. Since i had a take out order, i didn’t even know until i got home. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the salsa which would get a five star, the guac is good as well. The flavor of the chicken was good but the overall experience including edibility of the chicken was mediocre. If you live on this side of town try Pollo Tropical or cowboy chicken. You will not be disappointed at all.

I love this place it always smells so good it makes my truck drive there at least once a week. I have had about every thing in this place and my favorite is still the half chicken lunch meal or the tacos al pastor. The chicken comes with 5 corn tortillas and a side of rice and a side of beans, inside the packet with the chicken is a pepper and an onion«grilled». I am a big fan of the salad bar, oh I mean the salsa bar… Travis

Not a bad place to get some street tacos or a burrito. I’ve been to other Pollo Regios and this one is definitely better. It’s clean, The staff are nice and it’s well lit. I prefer the«meat in a tortilla» kind of foods but I’ve had the roasted chicken and mole and it’s pretty good too. I see lots of people having that for lunch.

The best roasted chicken and roasted onion. I usually get a whole chicken and an extra onion to take home and make my own rice and beans to serve for a quick dinner. They also have a great tostada. Parking is ok but you have to be aware of the traffic when going back onto Beltline road. It can be a busy intersection there. Staff has been friendly but I have only eaten in once. Try the Jamaica(hibiscus water) it’s yummy.

wow… i’ve passed by this place a couple of times and never thought to try it out… I figured it was like a KFC or any other fast food chicken restaurant… I was blown away by their food!!! We ordered a half chicken dinner meal… and it came with the whole shebang! rice, beans, tortillas, salsa(you can get more at the salsa bar), and of course the chicken! Now, you gotta be careful when taking your food to-go. They put the liquid from the beans into the container so it kind of leaks, even though they wrap it up. But seriously, just as Tracy T. put it… it’s like a Mexican picnic! It’s a perfect meal to bring to a picnic because you got everything in the bag AND it’s cheap. Tear up the chicken and eat it with the rice and beans. or use the tortillas to make a mini burrito to your liking… and add some salsa for that extra flavor and kick! Oh… and make sure you have wet naps since you’re definitely gonna need em. I’ll be back for more!

So it isn’t wrapped up all pretty in a nice, neat little building package… but I noticed the drive thru line was long, plus BMW’s and Hoopties alike were in the line. So I cut a U and hopped in it too. I ended up ordering chicken mole(Mole Poblano)… YUM-O. I’ve been wanting some more ever since. The chicken serving is small(2 very small pieces), but they give you darn near a bucket of mole which I’ll TAKE! I poured it over rice in tortillas. And that creamy salsa they gave me… oh my word it was good. The food literally looks like grandma made it, put it in styrofoam containers, and then wrapped all your stuff with Saran wrap to keep it from spilling in your car. I was tempted to call the place from work later and tell Nana thank you. I like. Good flavors. Try it.
