She was extremely nice, but I wasn’t really impressed with my haircut. I went for a pixie cut that I’ve been sporting for the last few years. Unfortunately, I keep relocating, so I keep having to start over with my stylist. I went to Rhiannon’s because of the Unilocal reviews. Diane listened well and gave me enough feedback that made me think she knew what I wanted, but sadly the execution was a little lacking. She mainly used a razor (not an electric one, but rather one that looks like scissors) on my very fine hair — never a good idea. Also, she sat down the whole time! — not sure if that affected anything, but I thought it was weird.
I’m not going back mainly because I don’t want to pay $ 50 for a «just okay» cut. I also wasn’t that impressed with her knowledge and advice. I’ll keep looking for my permanent stylist.

Just had my first appointment with Diane, and she has definitely lived up to her stellar reputation. She is very talented, engaging, and knowledgeable. Got a color and cut all within 2.5 hours. My hair has found its soul mate.

I have been growing out my hair for the last year from a very short pixie cut. I am determined to grow my hair out so was nervous about getting it cut. She was very knowledgeable about not only the cut, but also gave me recommendations about the self color I was using. I’m very pleased with the results and will definitely be a return client!!!

My hair has found a home! I walked Into the salon last week excited, nervous and unsure what to expect. When I walked out myself & my hair were new people! I absolutely love Diane & her magic hands! She transformed my hair both with cut & color & I love it! She also made my eyebrows look amazing, her motto working with what you have is spot on! She’s friendly, and fun to hang out and talk with whether it’s cars or sports (Go Stars) or anything else! I’d Definitely recommend her to anyone I know! I look forward to going back this winter to look my best for the holidays!

Diane does excellent work. She is the most knowledgable stylist I’ve ever been to. She took me through growing my hair out and is very good at developing a long term game plan. Because of her vast knowledge and talent she can find creative ways to make those usually awkward transitional phases easy to maneuver. Also, Diane is the first stylist I’ve been to that can actually fix men’s hair. When any other stylist fixes my hair after a cut I have to go home and re-​fix their work. If I could I’d swing by the shop every morning to have her do my hair.

Prior to my hair looking so fab, I must admit it had been years before I had anyone touch my hair. My previous stylist moved to Vegas (congrats to her!) and I was left trying to find someone to do just as good or even better then her.
So time went by and before I knew it, my hair went untouched for 8 years! Yes, my hair had not been touched by a stylist for 8 horrible years. I boxed colored my hair, which is an absolute no-​no, and I would trim my own hair, which was a nightmare! My hair was right at my waist, and I knew I had to do something quick, so I started asking around, and an acquaintance had mentioned Rhiannon’s Closet.
After much consideration I made an appointment and on I went to Diane’s private studio! After first I was very nervous not because I was afraid of Diane, but more afraid of what she thought of my hair. I was a complete HOTTMESS! When Diane first saw me, she was so compassionate about my concerns and she actually took her time by asking history on my hair, which I thought was awesome. By doing this, I truly believe Diane got a complete understanding about my hair!
So as I sat in the chair, Diane stood in front of me and analyzed me over. At this point I had no idea what I wanted. I just knew I wanted something new!
So within a few minutes Diane was in action! I use this term because I promise you I felt like I was in one of the scenes from Edward Scissors Hands! I say this with complete proudness because when Diane got done with my transformation, I was in LOVE!
Diane picked the perfect hair color, cut and style for me! It was a true customized hair style just for me, and that is what you call a phenomenal stylist!
I could not imagine going anywhere else. Matter of fact I take my 4 kids to Rhiannon’s Closet because I know she will give them the same care and attention she gives me.
I highly recommend Rhiannon’s Closet to anyone who is suffering from HOTTMESS syndrome like I was!

Diane is amazing. She gave me the best haircut I have had in a long time. She educated me on how to style and color my hair. She is a true blessing

My boss and a couple of coworkers all recommended I get my next color /​highlights with Diane at Rhiannon’s Closet. The problem: I have been going to the same girl for years and I just adore her. In fact, I have left positive reviews for her on Google before. So, I was nervous about going to someone new, it kind of feels like «cheating» on my stylist.
However, their hair looks so good and I needed a change and lift in color so I decided to give it a whirl. I am SO glad that I did!
I drove to Carrollton to find her salon on the fifth floor of the office building. I felt a few butterflies in my stomach as I went up the elevator. The place was very comfortable, with soft music playing in the background, thank goodness because I was getting more nervous as we discussed all the different colors I have tried on my hair in the past few years. My hair is naturally brown, but I have tried purple /​red on the bottom, blank on the bottom, highlights all over, you name it I have probably tried it.
I decided to just highlight BLONDE over my brown and red hair. The entire time, we talked about different styles and how to accomplish them. We talked about products and what I should be using and what I shouldn’t. She really let me have it flat ironing with daily my Chi. The best part, she didn’t expect nor sell any of the products we talked about; she wasn’t try to sell me something so she could get a commission. I found it it quite refreshing.
As my hair was being shampooed, she taught me to blot my hair dry and counseled me on properly caring for my highlighted hair. Again, I felt myself getting nervous, as if it was going to be another scary moment where my highlights came out orange. I pushed my stop panic button and listened to what she was saying. I have to say I have never been given so much useful advice.
Then the big reveal: #$%$%^% it looks $$#%$% Awesome! The best my hair has ever looked. blah blah blah, you get the picture. The cut was perfect, and I do mean perfect. My highlights were for the first time blonder than I had ever had them, my hair just looks HAWT! My hubby is pretty picky, but I couldn’t wait to come home and show him. He meets me at the door, excited from my call that I am home. The look on his face said it all, I looked hot. He touched it, looked at said a bunch of compliments that I didn’t hear then kissed me. The jest of it is, he too thinks it’s the best my hair has EVER looked. And yes, I have always spent alot of money on my hair so that was saying alot.
I am feeling so good about the job she did that I knew I had to come home and write this review.
So, I will be uploading new pics very soon, because right now I think the old pics look cruddy compared to the «today» me.
