Wow. All my life I’ve had difficult hair. It’s not only multi-​textured but it grows like a wild weed! It’s curly and normally it’s about 36″ long! I have also recently developed eczema on my scalp, so it’s not an easy task to even wash my hair so that it feels clean… it’s become quite embarrassing, but Gena was AWESOME! I loved how even the moment I walked in she automatically gave me a hug, like she just knew I needed her! I was so happy with my wash, cut and blow out that I couldn’t thank her enough. Not once did she make me feel self conscious about myself! All the ladies seem so happy and upbeat, you feel like you’ve come to hang out with your gal pals! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a forever-​stylist!

I am so glad I checked this place out!!! My mom is a hairstylist, but lives all the way in Hawaii (where I’m from). So, you can imagine how picky I am. Lee took wonderful care of me. I called on a Friday and she was able to fit me right in, which I really needed for my crazy & unpredictable schedule.
Lee is very meticulous, precise and fun! She made me feel like a million bucks, which was well over due for me. She definitely knows her craft well. I have thick curly hair and a lot of it at that. Lee was very patient and went into a zone that paid off. She has definitely gained a new regular client!
I recommend Lee and Roman Hair Salon to anyone who appreciates quality work! Especially, only being $ 25 for cut, wash and style! Please believe I left Lee a very healthy tip because she deserved it

You guys. I just had the best hair cut of my life. The salon itself isn’t much to look at but holy shit, Lee is good at cutting hair.
I was kind of grumpy because I had just gotten off work and my caffeine levels were depleted and I was just a shell of a human. But Lee greeted me so warmly when I walked in and literally just let me be. I was so tired after talking all day so she cut my hair and just let me zone out, which is exactly what I needed. My haircut came out exactly the way I asked, even exceeded my expectations. I have curly hair and the last time I’ve had someone cut my hair so well was when I had to dish out 100 bucks for it. This hair cut? $ 25. Such an amazing deal and the hair stylist is so perceptive. Definitely recommend.

They squeezed me in because of a cancellation and did a fantastic job. Lee and the owner Roman were so kind!

Amazing customer service! My hair was a hot mess. Made the mistake of going to a beauty school for color and cut. Roman fixed the haircut mess the school made and give me an even more amazing hair cut. She is going to fix my color in a couple of weeks to. Can’t wait to see the results. If it’s anything like, my haircut, it’s going to be amazing!

I went about 2 weeks ago to get my haircut. I get I called that day to make the appointment and that woman was very nice to me. When I got there, my hairdresser met me and immediately started. She didn’t speak much language but she understood what I wanted. She washed my hair, massaged and everything. We sat in the chair and she showed me. Later on a couple walked in. Roman wasn’t my hairdresser and she was free and so was another woman. But while the woman doing my hair was finishing she told her she needed to hurry up, that she was taking too long. In front of me. And then she went over to the guys and whispered some things. I actually apologized for my hair taking so long. I APOLOGIZED. maybe I look young but I am 20 years old and I was willing to pay whatever. Treating me like I wasn’t worth the customer. So I loved my hair dresser. She was nice. But I’m upset I had to apologize for my haircut taking so long. It was very rude and not customer service worthy. I gave my hairdresser a $ 30 tip for a $ 25 haircut. So I guess this is just like a regular hair salon. So change. I won’t be returning.

After reading countless reviews, I needed to check out Roman. She is located in Josey & Frankford, its a rundown strip mall but don’t be fooled, the inside is lovely and big.
I came in on a weekday so Roman can see my hair & fix it. I had went to 2 stylist and they were charging me an arm and leg and I wasn’t happy with what I was getting.
Roman is a WANTED LADY! She is constantly BOOKED. She found time to squeeze me in and even then I was there after closed (how sweet of her) she transformed my hair, I was almost in tears! She didnt charge me an arm or leg either.
She is an Angel sent from above! She is worth the wait & every penny! She cut my hair and I was so scared cus it was getting shorter and shorter but I never knew how good short hair would look on me! She’s a PRO! I love her!

This is THE best hair salon I’ve been to in a looooong time. I hadn’t got my long hair cut in probably half a year and was afraid to get a haircut even though my ends were horsehair.
Roman, the hair stylist, cut my hair so well that all the split ends were gone. She also gave me layers that framed my face. Her hair cutting skills are amazing and the trim gave me the softest hair I’ve ever had!
If I could give a 10, I would!
Walk ins are welcomed and there are clean bathrooms and a water dispenser.

My daughter and I needed the haircut badly and was looking for a new salon to try out. We Unilocaled and Roman Salon came up with 4 star rating. So we wanted to give it a try and walked in just before 5pm on Sunday (they close at 6pm) without appointment and the owner Roman graciously took us and gave us fabulous haircut. She didn’t mind to stay after 6.
My long hair teenage daughter is generally afraid of getting her hair chopped (shorter then she wanted, she just wanted the trim) and was nervous about the new place but Roman was so sweet and gave her the best haircut ever. And what she did with the flat iron made her hair so soft. I am sure she will be telling her friends all about this place.
I love the way Roman cut and styled my hair. I am coming back very soon for color. We love using Unilocal for anything and glad to found this hair salon!

Suzie is the bomb. She can cut and color any hair. After fun of doing my own for years I can trust that she will make it look great every time. She always makes you feel good when sitting in her chair. I give her free reign and it is awesome!!!

Roman always does a great job on my hair. I would recommend her and the staff to all my friends! She is so sweet too. I always feel welcome and she really listens when I need her to cut it a certain way. Plus, I always love the cut. She is less expensive than my previous stylist. Prices on all services are very reasonable.

To keep it short and sweet: I’m pretty sure Roman is a hair wizard. She doesn’t add a charge for shampooing, drying or styling; gives gorgeous cuts; is vigilant about sweeping up hair and has great prices. She’s truly passionate about hair and it shows. It couldn’t be better than this.
She’s also kind to babies and poor college students, so yeah, if it were up to me, she’d be up for a wizard crown.

My husband and I are new to Dallas and were desperately in need of some hair TLC. Roman was incredibly accommodating and the service was amazing. I think it’s safe to say that we’ve found our new go to salon.

Highlights and Lowlights for Medium length Dirty Blonde Hair.PERFECT.
I have had 2 appointments now. I am scheduling my 3^rd today. I have been fortunate to have Roman (the owner) do mine the last 2 times. She is fabulous. She did exactly what I have asked which was highlights and lowlights (slightly red-​ish to keep my natural dirty blonde from washing me out)! She did fantastic both times. She is fairly quick, and very affordable. I like that her prices are reasonable so I can tip more. I hope this helps someone and I will continue to use Romans for as long as I possibly can. I will say several of the kind women have very strong accents which can be hard to understand. If you want Roman or another stylist I would ask for them by name or call when they are in so that you can make your appointment more easily! It was very nice, clean, and friendly environment.

I finally had the time and money to color my hair at a salon instead of getting girlfriends to color it, since I work two jobs having a day off is rare. I finally come in after reading the reviews online and because its only 10 min away from my house. Bad idea. My hair color came out horrible. My coworkers at both of my jobs asked me if I did it myself since it looks like ‘someone just poured color on the top of your head’.
I mentioned that I had lots of color in my hair, she said give it a ‘few washes’ and it will look better, well it didn’t. I did like my cut though. Their customer service is great. I couldn’t make it in again since i did not want to spend my day off at the salon again. my words of advice: ask around friends, acquaintances, family or coworkers for a good hair dresser. even if the drive is across town it will be worth it.

Only been here once (today) and I had Sarah cut my hair. She’s only there part time for now but she was very friendly, relaxed, and took time to cut my hair. When I came in, she had me sit down first to talk about what I wanted to get done. I showed her a photo and explained my concerns about bangs etc and we came to a compromise of how my hair should be cut. Then off to wash and shampoo and cut.
Making the appointment was no hassle as well. I asked if they had an opening either today or next week and they were able to get me in today with no problem. I didn’t have any trouble with the receptionist.
I really like my hair and will be back again :)

Nobody cuts hair better than Roman! Good luck getting an appointment with her! Shes in demand! :)

It’s been 1 ½ years since I’ve discovered Roman Hair Salon and my review stays the same! Roman Hair Salon is seriously one of the nicest environments you can be where you feel so at home and comfortable with all of the other customers and hair stylists.
I’ve had highlights, I’ve had normal haircuts, I’ve had my hair gone ombré at Roman Hair Salon… and I still leave super satisfied everytime!
I usually stick with Roman as my hair stylist because she’s just so genuinely nice. Everytime I come in, she recognizes me, remembers my name, remembers things I’ve told her in the past… seriously, she is one of the nicest people you will meet.
When my ombré hair color faded within a week, she told me to come by and that she would fix it free of charge. She didn’t even take my tip — showing how genuine she is about her business and making sure everything is right. When my hair started to dry out and look «brassy,» she fixed it up for me without saying a word. SOOOO nice. I cannot explain how nice she is unless you guys go in and support her business!
Just remember, make sure you got the time! Roman spends her time with each and every customer to make sure they walk out satisfied, happy, and looking fabulous. Place is SUPER clean, SUPER organized, SUPER affordable, and the hair stylists are all SUPER nice! If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would gladly do so in a heartbeat.
