I just stopped and filled up with gas and went inside to get chips. I went to pay with a card she said «you don’t have cash this is not even a dollar.» I said never mind but I told her what about the full tank I just bought from you. I left and will never go back. If you take cards you take cards. If my transaction is too small I will go somewhere else.

I have been in some pretty bad gas station restrooms. This one takes the cake. So bad that I’m actually reviewing a gas station! No soap, can hardly see my reflection in the mirror it’s so dirty. Mold caked on the inside of the bowl which means it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. Toilet leaks from the seal, all debris is just swept to the corner, and film on the door knobs. If you have to go the bathroom here, take a shower when you get home.

When you stop and get gas & pay with a card, on some (a lot/​most) of the screens you can barely (if you’re lucky) see the instructions & questions about paying. They are broken/​scratched/​messed up so you have to move to a different pump… such a pain. They need to get these fixed.

I was in a hurry. Pulled up for pay at the pump. First pump I pulled up to had zero visibility on the screen rendering it completely useless for pay at the pump. Next pump I pulled up to required that I come inside to pay. Frustrated because I was in a hurry, I went inside. The Indian man behind the counter stood there and would not look at me till I spoke to him first, even though there was no one else in the store. I told him the first pump had no screen to enter info for pay at the pump and the second pump required I come inside. He told me it was because my card did not have over $ 120 on it and that you cannot pay at the pump if your card does not have at least $ 120 available balance. I was using a pre-​paid card that my family reserves exclusively for gas purchases. The balance on the card at the time was $ 89. It only takes $ 25 to fill up my car. Insulted that I didn’t have a large enough balance for their liking, I asked to pay for only $ 5 worth of gas and decided I’d fill it up elsewhere, where the balance on my card is irrelevant. Today I was viewing my bank statement and realized that he charged me $ 5, three times. My puny balance paid three times the amount that I actually received. Insult me as if my money is not good enough for you, then take more of it than you deserve. Klassy with a capital K. No worries, I have disputed the charges. I’ll get my money back.

Disgusting public restroom that reeks. If they won’t clean the restroom for their customers, you won’t find me here.

This review is more of a warning. We used pump number 9 last night and it shot gas all over the car, ground and us. They refused to shut the pump down and have it inspected. I have contacted the State of Texas and Texaco regarding this hazard.

Prices are better than normal and the place is really clean. Plus, they play great music while your fueling up.

I am a big fan of gas stations with connected food marts. The kerala kitchen here has very authentic Indian food and is worth a try if you’re hungry while stopping by for gas. Although I am a fan of their food, I’m not a fan of Texaco. Extremely high priced everything. Beer, gas, snacks, or whatever is going to be marked up. I think they do this because the lack of competition nearby (plus its a convenient pit stop off the highway while on the way home).
4 stars for the food mart but 2 for Texaco.
