Sharon was the best!!! She did such beautiful flowers for our wedding held at The Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel on 2-​6-​2016. We had a destination wedding and from the first time I talked with Sharon she was awesome. She even delivered flowers for the wedding party to our rooms. Thru a few phone calls and emails I told her what I liked and didn’t and she came up with beautiful arrangements. She is a must for flowers!

I got married July 18, 2015. My sister in law originally had connected with Sharon at Blake’s Floral when she was helping me find a florist who was willing to work with me to help me create my vision for my flowers. The ideas I had in mind were not simple but probably not the most complicated. They were unique and beautiful. When I reached out directly to Sharon to start the discussion of what exactly I wanted, from the get-​go, I felt as though this would be a great working relationship!
She sent examples and we discussed ideas of what I wanted. She explained pricing, how the arrangement techniques worked and listened to my ideas. We spent some time tweaking what I wanted and in the end, I got exactly (and probably more) what I had envisioned!
Sharon worked with me in helping me create my vision. She is very easy to communicate with and understood exactly what my vision for my flowers was. My wedding bouquet along with the centerpieces for my reception were amazing and beautiful. She also created an awesome flower arrangement for the arch we had for our ceremony (which we later used at our reception). I will definitely keep Blake’s Floral Design in mind for my next event in South Lake Tahoe. If you are newly engaged and are looking for a florist, I highly recommend Blake’s Floral Design.

We got married on July 26th, 2014. Sharon did a wonderful job with the flowers for wedding. She helped me pick the arrangements for the centerpieces, and even covered the décor on the tables. As someone who was planning their wedding from across the country, I was incredibly grateful to have one less thing to worry about!
I really wanted closed peonies for my bouquet, Sharon told me that peonies were at the end of the season around the time of my date, so we made a plan to use closed garden roses and ranunculus for my bouquet. I totally understood and was content in having a similar option. Well… about a week later, Sharon sends me an email, she found peonies from ALASKA that she would get shipped to her for my date! My bouquet was beautiful and exactly what I had imagined. She went above and beyond for me, and I was touched. I would recommend her service to anyone who’s getting married in the Lake Tahoe area!

I am not familiar with flowers but Sharon helped me figure it out & the end result was amazing! Sharon was amazing! If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would! Very professional, prompt & made my vision come to life! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to meet her in person due to some unforeseen circumstances the day of my wedding, so I had my photographer meet her for me & even she loved Sharon & couldn’t stop saying how sweet she was! I am IN LOVE with my bouquet! The flowers, were seriously beyond my expectations! I’ve had to deal with a ton of stress throughout the process of planning my wedding, luckily for me Sharon made this particular area verrrry easy! I HIGHLY recommend Blake’s Floral Design to any/​everyone in the Carson City, Reno, & Lake Tahoe area! I promise, you will NOT be disappointed!

My sister’s wedding was in June. The flower arrangement on the tables were beautiful but the the wrist corsages for the Mothers and I were dried up and brown. Very disappointing! She dropped off some of the flowers at the hotel where we stayed and she was absolutely so rude to my father he was very shocked. Intel she found out he was the father of the bride then she backtracked. Very unprofessional.
