Meet the Business Owner

Steve P.

Business Owner

Founder and Owner, A&P/IA, ATP — is the owner and operator of Carson Aviation Services. Steve oversees all aspects of the aviation maintenance and repair. With over 47 years of experience, Steve has worked on nearly every aviation maintenance and repair situation. Steve served in the Airforce where he developed his skills as a aviation mechanic. His vast training includes instruction in Bell helicopters, Boeing 737 and 727, and General Aviation. He spent over 4 years at the Reno Tahoe International Airport as an aviation mechanic before he established Carson Aviation Services in the Sterling Hangar at the Carson City Airport. Steve also holds a helicopter and multi-​engine pilot rating, and is a Captain in the Civil Air Patrol Jeep Squadron. He has also served as the Chief Commander of the Carson City Sherriff’s Aero Squadron and supports CAP safety activities for the annual International Air Races held in Reno/​Stead.
